  1. Has anyone been through the process of having the CLEO of Shelby county signing off on your form 4?
  2. I will probably take it up to range usa here in memphis when I put it up for sale. Wont be cheap (not at first).
  3. I agree with this. I have nicer 1911s to shoot so I guess I am going to cut this one loose. Thanks for all of the opinions guys.
  4. Any idea of what it would cost to have colt do the refinishing?
  5. Thats what I do to my cars. I have modern 1911s that are a lot more fun to shoot though.
  6. Thats another option I had not considered
  7. I bought this 1911 several years ago at a local shop. I thought it might have been original but after learning a little more I found that it had been reblued and maybe had some parts replaced at some time during its life. I am in the pistol about $850. I am trying to decide if I should have it refinished and if so what type of finish or if I should just cut it loose. The refinish process would run $100-$150. I would guess the pistol is worth $500 or so now and I dont know if the refinish would add much to that value. It might take away from the value. What would you do?
  8. less vendors this time so a little more walking room ...

    GSG-5

The 522 is a much more reliable firearm in my opinion. If you are looking for a used gsg5 there is a good deal here .... 22tactical.com 22 Tactical Firearms Forum - GSG5, GSG5P, GSG5PK, Sig 522LR AR15 - View topic - GSG-5 Rifle w/extras SOLD! SOLD! SOLD!

  11. What is the overall length with the can on it?
  12. The only advantage for doing a form 3 is that I would be able to shoot it while the paperwork is going through.
  13. Sounds like a plan but if I don't go the form 3 route it is going to be a while before I actually shoot it.
  14. I didn't know you could do this. That would save a $100 and a few months of time. I assumed that you had to go through a dealer.
  15. I have decided to go ahead and buy a mac 10/9 from a Tn resident. It is on a form 4. My local dealer says that the seller must fill out a form 3 before his shop can receive it (will be in person not mailed). I looked at the form 3 on the ATF's website and it appears that it is for dealer to dealer transfers? Am I looking at the wrong form? How long does it take for a form 3 to be approved?
  16. Sorta interesting if you want to know more about the design of this suppressor. [GUNSMITHING] MAC10 Supressor
  17. Fair turn out but less tables than the last show. You can print out a $1 off coupon at the site below. TRI-LAKE GUN & KNIFE SHOW
  18. for those of us too lazy to look at the exif data give us some details of your setup ... are you shooting from a tripod for the stream pictures? Looks like a long exposure.
  19. You would be surprised how easy it is to move a 6ft tall 900lb safe if you have a low dolly and two somewhat large guys. Have a look at this guy moving what appears to be a pretty heavy safe up stairs with a special dolly.
  20. aint that the truth ...
  21. That's a real nice setup but a couple grand more than my budget.
  22. Hehe when I asked how many mags he had he said two
  23. I spoke with him. Was that a rpb gun?
