  1. I have had straight talk for years and I'm pretty happy with it. like you, where I live it is either Verizon or ST, I switch because of the bill also. Another plus for ST they just dropped their unlimited talk+ 2GB Data to $35 from $45 online, not sure if they have it on the Wally world cards yet, and they knock off another $5 per month if you have auto refill. So $30 a month for Unlimited Talk and 2GB data is nice if you don't use a lot of data.

I was in Rita/Katrina providing security for government employees and equipment. And we started to have to ride with the electricians because people would shoot them as they tried to restore power. I can only presume the shooters were doing it so they could continue to loot. I was at Ford park outside of Houston at one point and we would take fire from the local highway every couple of days. We could see the car but we could never get them. When I was working at Jackson Square in NO we would hear gun fire almost every night and not just a round or two but what sounded like MAJOR gun fights. I have no doubt that there are people who are in Houston being shot at.

I was one of those Power line workers you were protecting during Katrina and I have to say THANK YOU FOR WHAT YOU DID BACK THEN I slept a lot sounder knowing you guys were watching our backs!!!

  4. My Dad had one of those when I was around 10 yrs old, he had it under the seat of his truck and got stopped in a road block here in Cocke County. The gun slid out into the floor board and the cops saw it, had Dad get out, and picked the gun up, looked it over, and asked Dad if he wanted him to call it in, Dad said NO and the cop put it in his pocket and told Dad to have a nice day. I asked Dad about it years later and he said he bought it at the Flea Market and was afraid it might come back stolen so he just let the cop keep it.

  5. We plan on building the retirement fund up, but going to treat ourselves to a nice new toy first lo Nothing huge, My wife wants to take the bathtub out and put in a new shower stall in our bathroom, and I've been wanting a new/slightly used 4 wheeler since I sold mine a few years back when we had to get my mother out of some financial trouble she got into when her dementia had her bouncing checks all over Greeneville. Nancy won't let me get to crazy lol she is that little voice in my head that keeps me in check when my eyes get big sometimes lol.
