I have had straight talk for years and I'm pretty happy with it. like you, where I live it is either Verizon or ST, I switch because of the bill also. Another plus for ST they just dropped their unlimited talk+ 2GB Data to $35 from $45 online, not sure if they have it on the Wally world cards yet, and they knock off another $5 per month if you have auto refill. So $30 a month for Unlimited Talk and 2GB data is nice if you don't use a lot of data.

I don't know if you can be immune to chiggers, but I have never had them. I worked for 20+ years in the Tree business, clearing power line ROW, hunted and fished all my life with not one chigger. I am also immune to poison ivy, oak, and sumac. I know this doesn't help you, just got me thinking after reading about your misery.

My son Stephen is down there right now on a storm recovery team for Townsend Tree service, they put them in the BB&T Coliseum in Sunrise FL. He tested me this morning and said there are Tornado's all over the place down there right now. If you are the praying type keep him and his co-workers in you prayers please.

My Dad had one of those when I was around 10 yrs old, he had it under the seat of his truck and got stopped in a road block here in Cocke County. The gun slid out into the floor board and the cops saw it, had Dad get out, and picked the gun up, looked it over, and asked Dad if he wanted him to call it in, Dad said NO and the cop put it in his pocket and told Dad to have a nice day. I asked Dad about it years later and he said he bought it at the Flea Market and was afraid it might come back stolen so he just let the cop keep it.

We plan on building the retirement fund up, but going to treat ourselves to a nice new toy first lo Nothing huge, My wife wants to take the bathtub out and put in a new shower stall in our bathroom, and I've been wanting a new/slightly used 4 wheeler since I sold mine a few years back when we had to get my mother out of some financial trouble she got into when her dementia had her bouncing checks all over Greeneville. Nancy won't let me get to crazy lol she is that little voice in my head that keeps me in check when my eyes get big sometimes lol.

The wife and I were going over the bills last night, and realized that after the 23rd of this month we will have 2 big bills paid off leaving us with almost $1,200.00 extra each month. We honestly hadn't realized they were almost paid off. Time to start looking for couple I WANT THAT purchases lol. Just had to share the good news!!!!

I went with a slightly used LC9, picked it up at Dixie Pawn for $189 + $10 BGC great deal IMO. Thanks for all the advice guys. Wife is happy now, so all is good in Newport lol!!!!
