The Marshals had long guns and got shot up by Gordon Kahl.     Look at the NFL.  Every team has great athletes, but some teams just don't get it together.  Tactics and determination and to a large extent culture can be the winning edge.

Click here for review.   This class was extremely well organized with not a wasted moment.     One thing that I didn't address in the article was the NLTA gear.  They were very careful not to endorse any one product, and we were exposed to several different types so that we could get first hand experience with each.     I'll say this: if you volunteer to play suicide bomber for another students scenario, make sure that you have a good helmet as a sim round in your ear hole will cause it to ring for a while...

I wrote a piece about an experience this past week.  This type of thing was nothing unique or special, but it does paint the picture of how thin the line is between shots fired or just handcuffs.

I haven't taken a class from these guys, but I have been in a class with them.  They seem like good folks.

  Nine or 10 were in the wheelgun class.  I think it was 15 for the shotgun class.
