  1. This thing is such a joke. No way anyone even had time to read the whole bill even if they wanted to. I believe that anyone in the house or senate that voted on this without knowing exactly what was in it has violated an oath to the people! On the plus side, crap like this might ensure only a one-term presidency for B.O.
  2. That does suck. That same thing has happened to me on two different patent ideas. That is such a lowsy feeling when you find out that someone else is already making money on your own idea! Maybe you could change a major component of the item. For example, use a magnetic device instead of velcro or some other variation... If you do use velcro, just remember that "Velcro" is a registered trademark, and you might need permission to use the name when advertising your product. Fortunately the design patent on hook-and-loop fasteners (Velcro) has expired and it falls into the public domain, so you can use it in your own invention without infringing on Velcro's design patent. Hope it works out for ya!
  3. Awesome video! Makes we want to go fire up Halo on the 360 and do some hunting... I got a good laugh from it! I enjoy watching "Predator Quest" on the Sportsman's Channel. I have hunted a lot of deer and ducks, but I want to get into some coyotes and bobcats. I hadn't thought much about hunting predators until I started watching this show. Now I"m hooked.
  4. lol... oops... my bad. No wonder I didn't know about it. Thanks for pointing that out. Funny...
  5. Didn't know that. Thanks for the info - I'll be there!
  6. Got mine last month. She said it was approved the day I called, and I got it 10 days later (that includes Christmas day!). I think I would call again to see if it was mailed. It could be that they just have a lot of permits t get out.
  7. I carry my 4-5/8" Ruger SBH revolver when I ride my ATV in the woods. I usually carry it crossdraw or strongside in a leather OWB with a thumb break. This might not work so well on a dirtbike or street bike or if you have an additional rider on the back of an ATV.
  8. You are correct that permit holders who are residents of AL (or any other state) have to get a TN permit if they work more than 30 hrs a week in TN and want to carry in TN. This is a TN law that pertains to non-residents. I don't believe AL has any such law. Looks like your TN permit is all you need... http://www.ago.state.al.us/ag_items.cfm?Issue=64 http://www.ago.alabama.gov/issue/TN_Note.htm http://tennessee.gov/safety/handgun/reciprocity.htm
