I found out it's a Blackhawk Xiphos light, and it's in 90% condition. Two 15 round mags and one 16 rounder. 19 black talons.

    XD Price ????

I just saw on a deal on another forum for an XD Tactical 9 with a light, extra batteries, a case, hi-cap mags, and some Black Talons for $575. Says the price is negotiable. Is this a good deal? If Not/How much should I offer?
  3. Welcome to you. Hope you enjoy the site. Might have to meet up and shoot.
  4. These are pictures of the Astra Terminator I picked up. Actually came with box, origional paperwork and a cleaning cloth to keep the blueing blue, and not all "fondeled" up. And close to 200 Alabama Ammo JHP .44 magnum rounds. (197 to be exact)
  5. Thanks for th info. Just didn't know, I was thinking. (44mag + 2 1/2 in barrel = One hell of a handful) You might have just convinced me to get it.
  6. Getting it at a steal. Just wanting to know about recoil, quality oft the gun, ????.
  7. Met a guy this morning who offered me a good deal on a Astra Terminator chambered in .44 magnum? The barrel is ported and gun comes with pachmayer grips. Also comes with 150 rounds of ammo. Never shot one before and need a little info/opinions. Will be my first revolver. *****UPDATED******
  8. The Xiophos NT is a light only. No need for a laser, so I didn't go that route.
  9. I recently got a XD tactical 9mm (5 in) and have a Blackhawk Xiphos NT weapons light mounted on it. The problem I have is Blackhawk doesn't make a light-bearing holster for the XD models yet. As much as I like the regular Blackhawk holsters, it would be a shame to have paid $199 dollars on a weapons light and not be able to carry it. The second problem is, I think that it would be hard for me to get a custom holster made because the light while mounted does not sit directly under the weapon as most other lights do. It sits slightly to the left of the underside of the barrel. Anybody know of someone who could help in this matter? Any help would be appreciated.
  10. Got this baby in a trade for the RIA .45 I just picked up last week. Had to hide it in the car 'cause the wife didnt know about it. I was so excited about this trade I brought this home without flinching. To my surprise she wasn't even upset. Springfield XD Tactical 9mm with an I-tac holster, a Blackhawk Operator's light, and some Black Talon ammo. Black gun, black light, black bullets, black holster, a Tactical operator's dream. A criminal's worst nightmare.
  11. I know I'm working on it. I just have to find another hiding spot other than my car.
  12. This is an updated family portrait as it is now. A 9mm, .40, and .45, It would be complete with a snub nose .38, guess I just telegraphed my next purchase.

    RIA 45

Sorry Motasyco, didn't mean to get you all excited. It truly was something I happened to "luck up on". It had been listed for two weeks already and the owner hadn't gotten any calls on it.
  14. I actually got it as a favor. Just wanting to know if it was worth it to buy some. I wanted to know how it compared to my Hydra-shocks and my Talons.
  15. Anyone know about these rounds? Not just what you've seen on You Tube or heard from friends but actually know. I picked some of these up recently to carry for defense but wanted to get actual reveiws on how they might perform for me. I just relly want to know if it was worth it. :screwy::screwy::screwy:

    RIA 45

I did, picked it up yesterday as a matter of fact. Still in my trunk, the wife doesn't know about it yet. Found it on another forum though. Came with a case, paperwork, ammo, a Pierce front strap grip and a set of meprolight night sites for me to get put on it. Had to drive to Whitehouse for it but for the set it was only $360.

    Rental Ranges

On Target, outside of being closer to Murfreesboro, will probably be the best bet for what you're looking for.

What do you think StrickJ ? You think she'll come along ? Your's are pretty big shoes to fill.

    RIA 45

Now all that is left is a SS Tactical Slidelock, Tactical Ambi-Safety, Beavertail/Grip Safety, and OD Green Alumagrips. Another $250 I estimate and she'll look how I want her to. She'll be ready for a little fondling.
  20. I saw someone here a while back with a RIA .45 that was wearing green aluminum grips. (I beleive that was the material.) I'd like to get my hands on a pair for a RIA .45 compact verison/officer's model. Any help would be appreciated. Would these or the VZ Alien grips be a better bet?

    Rexio RJ-38

Thanks for the insight 56. I guess the price coupled with the fact I'd have to drive to pick it up doesn't make it worth it. Two hours for a decent price on a fairly good looking gun, pluss gas at $2.54 a gallon .....? Guess I'll save the money for some high priced ammo at the gun show next week.
  22. Thanks for the info. Saw one with some upgrades and thought about picking one up and doing the same.

Would $125 in "fair" condition be too much?
  24. Any info on a NEF Pardner pump 12 gauge shotgun? Heard it was the same as a Rem 870 from a guy in Dick's today. Any truth to that?
