  1. My story………… News Flash for Wednesday November 24, 2010 The notorious November Hurricane named Zimmer, already dubbed the “Dooms Day” hurricane, will hit land fall tonight on the beaches of Louisiana and Mississippi. The Federal governments along with FEMA and the National Guard have tried to evacuate the entire states of Louisiana and Mississippi. Hurricane Zimmer, now a record breaking category 6 WILL be the world’s worst natural disaster in history. Spanning 567miles wide, winds recorded over 300mph and moving at a slow 16miles and hour, it’s estimated to wipe out Louisiana and Mississippi. At this point there’s no telling the total devastation or impact it will have on the U.S. as it travels further inward. In other news, record breaking temperatures in the north continue. A blistering deep northeasterly wind continues out of Montana and dips as far southeast as Kentucky. Much of the North East is experiencing harsh temperatures and blistering winds due to this odd weather occurrence. The question on most people’s minds now is what will happen when the warm moist air from Zimmer hits this nasty cold jet stream. It has the potential of causing tornados and sever storms all along the South and entire East and Northeast’s’ coast. The local police along with dozens of military are doing what they can to help the people of the hurricane, but response times for emergency’s are getting longer due to the lack of help. We urge the entire U.S. to please help us in this time of need by being patient and careful. Do not take any unneeded risks in these possible deadly times. As food and supplies continue to fly off the shelves everywhere, we have to wonder when they will, if ever, get restocked. K25 Labs Oak Ridge, TN 8:34pm November 24th Deep in the secret underground labs of K25 a female biological doctor injects a microscopic parasite with a deadly mixture of a virus/bacteria combination that was combined with a simple protein. Once the parasite accepts the mixture the parasite is then injected into a common lab rat. With in minutes, the area of injection starts to blister and become puss filled. The rat scratches at the wound opening it up further. The rat starts to squeal and run into the walls of the cage as his hair seems to be falling out at a tremendous rate revealing more blisters and rashes. Suddenly, the rat falls over and is lifeless. Excited the doctor hurries to examine the rat. Slipping on the safety procedures the doctor reaches into the cage with a net to scoop out the rat. She pulls the rat out and brings it up to her eyes for a closer look…….something’s moving…..inside the rat. Screams would have been heard if the doors weren’t 2 inches thick solid steel or if her co workers hadn’t already gone home for the night. Trying to get to the alarm by the door to seal off the area, the young doctor knocks beakers and test tubes into the floor. She can’t see well. Her eyes burning, skin burning…..and she feels like she’s going mad…….but the alarm is just a few steps out of reach……have to make it!!! Y12 Disposal Labs Oak Ridge, TN Mistakes happen and today wasn’t the day to make one. Trying to get nuclear shipments in and out of the disposal labs in the pending upcoming bad weather was the worst idea in history. More workers unloading and more fork trucks running around, make maneuvering an 18 wheeler impossible. Deep, 2 miles underground in the storage facility for nuclear materials, men and women alike scurry around. Present Day November 25th Thanksgiving Day Oak Ridge, TN (up on a mountain safe in my home……..for now) My Journal: No one really knows how or what happened, all we know to this point is there was a mistake made causing a terrible explosion. This explosion traveled parallel under ground through the various underground tunnels and corridors and took out both Y12 and K25 plants and labs. Radiation is presently seeping through the ground but most airborne radiation is under control. The CDC has been called in because of the “military” contracts being developed in K25 but we haven’t a clue about what they were up to. Everyone was told to stay in their houses and don’t go out side…….wonder how many people listened. My wife and I along with our 5yr old daughter have the windows taped up with plastic and the doors sealed off. The A/C vents have been sealed as well as the unit turned off. My emergency plan is in effect as there’s no telling what will happen. For now, we all just sit in the living room, playing games and keeping our daughters mind of off the situation. I’ve got plenty of food and water and batteries for the radio and flashlights. Guess I’ll start keeping this journal since we may be infected by something or have radiation poisoning by now……..just have to wait and see. More to come..............
  2. Could this "Zombie thing actually happen....you bet!! Why?? Because stranger things have happened..... Tell how you thinkthe zombie apocalypse starts. Use fantasy or imagination if you wish. I perfer to hit closer to home and think of real life things that COULD happen. Take your time and have fun with it.
  3. Definatly watched the first "season opener". Haven't had the time to watch any others yet. Most of the "idiocies" from the first episode a have already been mentioned..... Can't wait till the weekend when I have time to watch more....
  4. Going "mobile" can be dangerous in the early parts of the Zombie take over. There will be military, police and tons of citizens out there blasting away at the zombies. If you can stay put in a safe place for a few weeks, this will allow the Zombie heard to be thinned out and might nix the possibility of getting shot by a stupid idiot who mistook you for a Zombie. If you have to move basically take what you can find as there will be vehicles everywhere. Personally, most any 4x4 truck or SUV would suit most anyones needs in this situation. I'd look for one that has the "cow basher" brush roll bars on it if possible incase you need to punch through someone or something....definatly cause less damage. No need for a sports car or minivan in this case. Motorcycles of any kind are dangerous except to a very experianced rider. Trying to ride and cover tough terrain while maybe needing to shoot Zombies will prove very hard and maybe costly. Besides, you can't carry many supplies on a bike. However a bike maybe able to provide you a necessary but short ride to the nearest safe house.....at that point, use much caution and extreme care.

    New?

Then I'm in trouble!!! I'll use my AK, my Glocks, Shotgun, Shovels, Bats, Knives, Explo-zives (ie I'd make a few pipe bombs), Weedeater, Lawnmower blades and neighbors. Why neighbors you ask?? In a pinch, you toss your neighbor (aka fresh meat) to the Zombies which allows you a short window of oppertunity to escape or aquire another weapon. Anything goes in The United Zombie States of what used to be America.
  6. Yes i do still have the entire set.......but no, I don't want to part with it. Be more than happy to stain a set like that for you.
  7. All WASR's aren't bad. There are pleanty of good ones out there. I haven't had any issues with mine at all. Nothing's canted, shoots great, reliable and as accurate as an AK can be. Not all of the WASR were done shabby, there are quite a few good ones out there......hopefully you got one like I did. Origional pic What it looks like now...
  8. Practice, practice, practice. Congrats and enjoy.

  12. First off..I appoligize to everybody who had to wait till I showed up before heading to Jasons' place. I know it was a grueling 10min and I thank you.....however, I never thought or figured for the life of me that EVERYONE WOULD BE ON TIME AT 10AM!!!! Man....so good seeing you guys and meeting some of you others. I know I didn't say hi to everyone and introduce myself but I believe I was able to put faces with names with everyone. Thank you Jason for hosting the gathering. Hopefully my spinner contribution was usefully destroyed sunday. Can't wait to do it again....major fun!!! Titan, though I didn't eat anything, it really looked like people couldn't stop stuffing their mouths and it sure smelled good. I remember seeing people rubbing their bellies in glorious pain and suffering while you're opening the grill saying "don't be shy more's comming off, everybody eat up." One of these days you'll be cooking around the time I actually eat and I'll have to try some of your fabulous foods. Once again, thanks for being the offical East TN Master Chef and dragging all your precious seceret spices and your grill to the meet. Now where's the pics at??? Come on, I know you guys took more than that!!
  13. I was being silly.......refering to "them" should have given that away. However I do suck at telling jokes. I'll have 100rnds of Wally World Federal .45 if some one wants to trade for 7.62x39 or 9mm. I can't use it but will trade for face value of it..... Got the truck packed with tons o' crap ready to go. See ya'll in the morning. Gona be chilly so dress warm!!
  14. I wouldn't say anyone is welcome. If anyone was welcome then he could bring them which would be bad for us. But TGO members are welcome....
  15. Snow-n-sluts are a given though it's not my turn to bring them........ and "vetables" is stuff I wouldn't eat as a kid.......still can't quite say it these days.....I've had terriable nightmares ever since the accident involvin' the asparagus.
  16. If I can get a truck tomorrow, I'll bring some saw horses and plywood as well. Gona try to make a platform tonight for my spinners to at least bring them up to waist height for people to use...... People, don't forget to bring some type of chair to sit in unless you feel like standing for a few hours. Items people might want to consider bringing: boots, protective eye wear, protective hearing apparatis, wood, targets, ammo, firearms, tools, food, drinks, chairs, change of clothes (incase people want to "go all out" and dive in the mud puddles) condiments, vetables, meat........am I leaving anthing out??
  17. Mmmmmmm shiney!!!!!
  18. Takin' to long to get to Saturday......already packed and ready to go!!! Can't wait......last time I've seen some of ya'll was up at Marks place...... Don't forget, bring boots as it may still be muddy!!! Ammo, check.....firearms, check.....targets/stuff to blow up, check.....
  19. M_E_O_W BABY!!!!! Last year you could have said that...I wieghed 210lbs.......now I'm at 160. I've been starving for a while. ......................as for Caveman, I swear that dude COULD eat someone so he'll get his meat one way or another!!!
  20. Dangle pink fluffy bunny slippers with cotton ball tails in front of him.....he'll follow.
  21. I could only imagine what that place looks like right now. We had some major heavy down pours in Oak Ridge early this morning. Many roads flooded.....
  22. There....... ....but may have to leave by 1 but wanting to stay till it's over....... For those who don't know me, I'll be wearing my avatar as my name tag. Call me what you want to but the legal name my mama cursed me with is Kevin.
  23. "Hensley IGA 3310 Andersonville Highway Andersonville, TN 37705" General Directions From Knoxville: Taking I-75 North from Knoxville (Exit off of I-640) Take exit 122 for TN-61 - Norris/Clinton exit Turn (Right at light) or EAST at TN-61 E/TN-61 toward Norris/Andersonville You will come to a 4 way red light, continue forward Destination will be on the right shortly after the light - 1.7 mi from I-75 Close enough........ Nobody has mentioned targets yet so........ I'll be bringing 2 of my pistol spinner targets for everyone to shoot at. Their not big (3 6in round 1/4in thick plates per) but are fun at 20yrds or so. Keep in mind these are pistol targets. One has had a few 7.62 rounds shot at it to see how it'd hold up. Did some good damage to it (almost went through) but is still very functional. While mike.357 may bring his steel plate to shoot at, I encourage everyone to try to bring something. If you can snag a few bowling pins or have a few of the frames from realty signs bring them please as well as paper targets. I can't remember how long the range is but there is a covered roof with tables n seats (like out at Norris). There is also open area's to shoot from. I remember (gungeek I think) was using milk crates to shoot off of. Twards the end, I was setting up spent 12gauge rounds on the ground and shooting at them. I left when the .50 started up but could hear the boom while driving off.
  24. She's a beauty.........I'll put it on my "want but will never have" list.
  25. Sounds like a good time to me. I'm sure some people will be early and some will be running late but that way we can have a quick meet n greet before we all convoy to BigJ45s' place..........what do we the people say??
