  1. i did not either til i got my insurance statement. on the rest of it i am still learning how to shoot again and need a little/lot more strengh i was hoping to do a test run this weekend that did not work out.
  2. WOW! THANK YOU ALL!!! for the kind words. thanks to wife not letting give up and i was really just trying to make it all work! without damage to a $28,000 chair.   i do still have a ammo sponser, but blade-tech just stepped up and helped me out. i also need to say Kenny of SSS oftered his machince shop as shop time allowed if i needed it.   SSS=speed shooters specialities   thanks again
  3. since we have been banned from your club, please remove the youtube video's of myself and Wanda shooting at mcts plus the one of myself and your sons shooting my 22's   it must be good to be king.
  4. 1st i have to thank blade tech. and now i finally got the mag holders mounted and its hopefully ready to go. the front one is not real secure but i do not think it will be going anywhere. the chair parts in the picture are $700 for the pair so i had to be careful on what i did. pictured is my open gun and a 22 round mag and 27 round mag.
  5. dont crowd cover so you can shoot around the other side without extra movement   do not, if possible shoot with your feet together, weak side foot forward   do not wait for the buzzer to stop, as soon as it starts move   do not wait for steel to fall, you hear the ping go to next target.   do not try to make up a 1 down you can not do it fast enough (yet)
  6. always ask, it should okay and thats the way to do it, but i have seen it go both ways.
  7. see above post, but statement in incorrect, not even close to a factory load. they dropped the power facter on the SSR very low to 115 i think. all the action sports ammo can be down loaded.
  8. the light loads are very light, but will still have a 130PF there is a big difference on recoil and muzzle flip on a 126 or 147 grain gamer load over any factory load you will need to try some to believe what differece that they make. HUGE your little 380 pistol will recoil more than a 9mm gamer load.
  9. :) and thanks
  10. i just ain't that smart. can not spell most of the time, piss poor grammer even though i have a A.O.S. and B.A. some docs says a little to much head tramia i trying to understand the idpa training thread. i mean i think i get the idea. know this that each and every club idpa, uspsa, hi power etc will do its best to help you. without  you the clubs would fail. there are still clubs here that have not raise the cost to shoot in about 15 years. like 10 for non members and 5 for ladies and minors. different clubs can teach you different things. i have never been a good pistol shooter not sure if i still can. know that there is a lot advise and some bad as well. also someone with a different idea but is this some stuffyou the new shooter is looking for. most of this is done at home. 1 when you first grab your pistol is your hand as far forward as possible on the dove tail   2 looking in a mirror slowly draw your gun, does only the gun raise up? if the holster rides up something needs to fixed.   3 now that you have double checked unloaded and empty. looking at a point or object draw the pistol, were is the front sight? i bet it not on the object   4 reloads bring the gun up in front of your eyes to do this, so your eyes are still down range.   5 move forward and backwards is the front sight moving, bend the knees and roll the feet   6 stick with one model gun at first, learn the feel of the trigger reset, once that is reached stop moving your finger forward and shoot.   is this the kind of stuff you are looking for? if it is there plenty of these little things that can be added remember that those fast guys are not shooting factory stock guns and are shooting light loads THIS DOES MAKE A DIFFERENTANCE. the guy who thinks his glock is bad azz because he put in a 3.5 disconecter is mistaking. now with that said there great shooters who can do well with a factory gun   always be safe and have fun and know this! slow is fast and fast is slow
  11. Thats very cool hmmm

  18. nope and nope, smart adapter? i guess it mounts to the scope? the problem there is i am not that smart, on the offset mount i think of the old model94. i have looked around and did not notice them but was not looking. i will do some more looking.
  19. as most of you know last 31 Aug i broke my neck. while i was in rehab the wife got me this (just the rifle) for something to keep me looking forward to something. the scope is a vortex pst with meduim rings now my issue is i can not bend over like u and i can not get my eye close enough for the scope. it is already on the last slot and the front ring against the bell. at this time i do not wish to have cut 2" off the stock. i have ordered a riser and low rings. i plan to mount the riser as far back as i can on the rail with low rings. i do not know if it will be enough or if my jerry rigged cheek piece will go much higher and still be solid. idea's
  20. we sent u a e-mail at the address given in post #1, why are we not on the lisit?

  24. shotgun is key, get good one to start with ! and yes practice reload, reload shotgun. FN, M2 Versa Max, for out of the box shotgun's. the VM is what i have now. if you do not have a AR and will be getting one, get the mid or rifle length gas system (recoil). pistol hi cap 9 check Rockcastle's schedule, just outside bowling green. they do a lot BIG 3 gun matches, to see for yourself what they use and test equipment. the 3 nation pro/am is in Augest, the international 3 gun championship in oct. they just had the shotgun championship
