  1. we hope to be there on sunday
  2. yes that was impressive, like a nascar crash everyone standing up and saying, "WOW" just no caution flags
  3. sorry we did not make it, the boss said NO cause my right foot and lower half of the leg was still swollen. from being out all day Saturday I guess
  4. we hope to be there tomorrow
  5. we had a great time, still need a lot work on my shotgun, the trigger is still tough on me. everyone was friendly and helpful to me with my chair. lots of prizes, after the drawing you could back for 2nd's.
  6. you are welcome to use my open shotgun,
  7. this will be at the Hill Top Training center. as I understand it shooters meeting is at 10:30 match fee $10 with a prize table. he does have a 200 yard shot on steel, I know NBForrest helped him setup the 6 stages. it is just outside Dover. please contact Jerry with questions and he did say there would be a loaner 870 if needed. a text is the best way to get in touch with him,   http://hilltop-firearmstraining.com/index.html
  8. 1st that is the multi gun rules, a level 1 or 2 match, is not a club match, that's like shooting the music city cup, that would be a level 1 match.   club match is a club match.
  9.   I do not have $3000.00 all to together with my open gun, my limited and the wife's limited gun. but I have seen some idpa shooters that have spent over $2000.00 on there Wilson or les bear. and for those who been around for awhile shooting all over have seen it them also, if they knew it or not.
  10. i beat them all i had the highest score out of all of them! ;) not bad for first time out with rifle in my hi  dollar shooting chair! woo whoo!
  11.   I agree, there something to be said about loading up 22 rounds and blasting away.
  12. cause I ain't that smart, flat foot reloads only, but moving between locations its okay to go to slide lock and start reloading in the open? correct?   if correct and you reach a 10' wall of cover before you finish the reload, I guess then you would go flat footed to finish the reload. T/F
  13. fyi, if you are happy where its set at, put a little blue locklite on it. the set screw has been known to turn up missing. you do not need much, just to keep it from moving till u get some carbon built up in the threads.
  14. if it is a compete upper from JP it has a adjustable gas block, just open up the set screw and check to make sure the set screw is there and not missing
  15.   thanks, it was also good to see you guys as well. had a good time! and many thanks to my squad helping me out and getting me across the creek bottom  and the hole I found in bay 1. I learned that I can not use my normal 3 gun AR and will need to get the light weight one finished and will need a aimpoint or eotech. a scope will not work. I was very happy with Wanda's shooting that was the first time she pulled the trigger on one her AR in many months. again thanks all
  16. I agree 100%, I was just trying to make a point, if a club or whoever chooses to use that against someone then that club should be used to all who show up at there idpa match. you know be fair to all   a quote   "If you would still like to renew the expired IDPA membership to be eligible for the classifier, "   which is correct per IDPA HQ and something I did not know. (classifier being a members only thing)
  17. no my wheel chair is and gets stuck easy
  18. does anyone know if its suppose to rain up there at all?
  19.   yes that is true. but I have shooting idpa since 98 or 99 and have never seen that card played till this year, I just hope its applied to everyone equally and not just it suits a need.
  20.   true, per mr ray and the MD/AC make sure  that rule is enforce for the classifier it is idpa members only, again per mr ray
  21. got into a ugly discussion on this with Mr. Ray at idpa hq and I quote Mr. Ray," its the MD and AC's job to make sure that no shooter returns for a 2nd match (IDPA) without being a idpa member per the rule book. and only idpa members can shoot a classifier" I myself do not care
  22. you have great skills
  23. thanks, now i just need to get a small trailer
