advice needed Needing advice with purchasing an EDC.

I have the MC9 and absolutely love it. It’s probably one of the most accurate handguns of its size that I have shot. The trigger is great as well. I have about 600 rounds through it with no issues. I also have the M&P Shield Plus. While it is a great handgun, I just can’t shoot it as well as the MC9. I have about 500 rounds through it with no issues as well. I would suggest you try a few out at the rental counter, if you can find them, or see if a buddy has one you can try and see which one you can shoot better. If you are ever around Murfreesboro, I’d be happy to meet you at the range sometime and let you try either one. -
Not sure where you’re located, but Outpost usually has blue label Glocks in stock. May save you some shipping if you’re in middle TN.

Is it wrong to keep guns you have no interest in for sentiment reasons?

I have an old single shot 12 gauge that was my dad’s. It’s really beat up, but I have so many memories of rabbit hunting with him. It was a “tool” for him, and he used it like one. It’s not worth much for most folks, but it’s priceless to me, even though I never plan to shoot it. There’s nothing wrong with keeping it. This is a decision you would probably regret later on if you got rid of it. You would never be able to go back on that decision. The only way I would get rid of a gun like that would be to pass it down to my adult son, so they could make memories with you. -
Bump to the top for great guy to deal with. It was great to meet you!

Reduced…….Open to trades, let me know what you’ve got. I need a OWB holster for a Glock 47.

Ohhhh gotcha! I was thinking maybe shoot one and keep one unfired. You guys must be smooth talkers to your wives I have trouble explaining why I need “one” more, lol.

Hey Link, serious question, what is your reasoning for buying in pairs? I’m fairly new around here and have only made a couple of deals so far, but I’m amazed how smoothly both deals went. I also got to meet a couple of great guys in the process. I just can’t help myself when I get a new firearm! I have to take it to the range . I’ve accumulated 35 or so now and all of them have been to the range. My brother-in-law is just the opposite, he just collects and hardly fires them. It pains me, lol. He has a CZ Czechmate Parrot that I’m itching to shoot, but guess what, they’re discontinued now and he will probably never shoot it. All said, I’m glad to be part of the group and have seen most things priced fairly.

Welcome! I’m right around the corner from you in Mboro.

I agree with trying out plenty at the rental counter and see what she likes best. My wife tried the LC9, the LCP, the Shield Plus, P365, and plenty others. To my surprise, she ended up getting the LCR in .38. I also have a LCR in 9mm, but she always goes back to the .38. The M&P with the EZ rack slide is also a good option.

I hear ya! My first gun 40 years ago was an Ithaca Model 66 20 gauge. I guess it wasn’t technically a “lever action”, it was more “lever-activated break-open” for the single shot. Later on, I was able to pick up a 12 gauge as well. Now I need to find the 410 . While obviously not in the same category as the rifles, it started my love of the levers.

I appreciate it, but I’d rather sell it in person. Being used, I’d like for the buyer to see it and make sure they’re happy with it. -
