  1. I actually went ahead and took the survey. Lots of vagueness in the questions and explanations of the questions. The responses here are about what I expected and make me proud to know y’all bunch of extremists. 😂😂

To the OP, since you were a participant in this conference, I would like to off a thought. With regard to red flag laws/ERPOs/etc., they’re not an effective band aid, let alone a solution. I’m a hard line opponent of them due to their 4th and 14th Amendment issues. Also, they do little to nothing to actually address the root issues with the dangerous person. Until we can effectively create and fund mental health structures that can force an individual in crisis to receive help, even if they don’t wish it, we will be applying bandaids to sucking chest wounds and wondering why nothings working.

You want the support of folks like me, start there.

    I totally agree.

We wanted to kick some behind when the lazy public school teacher and principal advised putting my son on medication.  He was bored, so he was disruptive.  After getting my son enrolled in academic settings with more challenging curriculums, my son thrived and the disruptive behavior stopped.

This very thing happens all too often. “No child left behind.”

A kid has energy. Deal with it. You can’t get a puppy to sit still all day, why do you think a kid should. Especially when they are bored out of their skull.

The way we do school in the US is actively hostile to boys. The solution has been to attempt to paper over it with psychoactive drugs. It doesn’t work for the kids and it doesn’t work for society as a whole.

This case has other factors involved, but I think the primary issue of giving folks drugs instead of getting them real help holds.

That's a bit of a blanket statement isn't it? Just because it didn't work for you doesn't mean it doesn't work for others. But I agree that diagnosis should come from a trained medical professional and not a school employee.

My friend just got diagnosed with ADHD as an adult and the medication is helping him.

There’s a vast difference between diagnosing and treating and adult and a child. This is something the medical establishment seems to have forgotten and big pharma never cared about at all.

I’ve got a lot of first hand experience and knowledge gained from looking into why certain things may have gone they way they have in my life. I am 100% comfortable standing by my prior statement.

Mediations only work if there is a pre diagnosis natural imbalance. Introducing chemical altering/adjusting medication cause the natural process to stop producing its own chemical processes. Thus the reason giving these drugs during early development (ex ridilun, etc.) creates such large manic/depressive shifts later in life.

It's been now proven that less than 10% of kids put on behavioral medications actually had/have natural chemical imbalance.

Point being, as far as medication goes, we are creating chemical/prescription dependent people. Mix that with existing mental disorders (not chemical imbalance induced) that have no chance.

I was one of those Ritalin kids from the early 80s. Caused a lot of issues later on in my life.

If any school administrator suggests getting your kid put on ADHD meds, punch them right in the mouth. (Not joking in the slightest. They’ve earned it.) Then get your kid/grandkid out of that school.

A while back, i had the opportunity to grab an old Fulton.

Turned out to be a great shooter.

    Solid flex.

I know you don’t need me to tell you, but the Fulton M-14s are the premier M-14 pattern rifles. Leagues above the M1A. I’ve got a Bula myself, but sometimes still wish I’d sprung for the extra grand for a Fulton.

It say anywhere what new toys the ATF seized from these guys?

Truly these guys knew better. FFLs and SOTs should stay far away from gray area stuff.

He surrendered a loooong list of items a couple years back.
