Well it was given to me by a family member, id like to know its worth. its a Enfield No.2 Mk.1 in .38s&w dated 1939. Its in really good shape. Barely any surface rust. id say 80% ++ condition. its mechanicly perfect and locks up tight. any help is appreciated. the proof marks are BNP and all numbers match. sn g8xxx so only 4 numbers. im having problems uploading my pics, so here is one offline.

Did yall read my o.p. though?, the cz,with all the extras and 200 rounds for the kel tec and nothin extra, maybe ill shoot 100 through it then get the kel tec.i thought i might stick with this one, because i have 2x the distance in accuracy40-50 yrds with cz, what 20-25 if lucky with kel tec(correct me if im wrong) ?, but im just torn

Why not the TAURUS "GAUCHO"? single action revolver, and factory says it was made for "fanning"/speed firing. so there ya go, if it breaks, taurus will honnor it cuz of the fanning thing. i believe 95% of other manuf. dont. Just a thought

to be quite honest a an all steel ruger mk 2 or mk3 with laser grips would honestly work, but $$ is tight. I was just Asking(not being defensive,just trying to see your POV) because you kinda bashed my choices in whats avail to me (in my price).I could get a cz52 9mm barel if thats what Yall are suggesting until something more suitable comes up,WICH i plan on doing as soon as it permits.and sorry its what was in my price range at the time. I took your post as "since my gun is 50 years old that it wouldn't work for hd". And i wasn't choosing just a gun just to "hit someone with it"If i was, id go with a crowbar or a ball bat! i just wanted a Decent, reliable auto at the time(the cz seems a bit above that actually),with some stopping power. but NOW i live in a small appt like 20'x30' and cqc is quite possible. wasn't knockin you.my post was for input from all members, not to bash you sir., just tryin to catch perspectives. Whats the best round in Ya'lls op? or fav round?will the commercial rounds be fine?? or HP rounds? N e experience with the ones that are .223(i believe)in sabots inside? like these... And WHERE THE Heck do i find all that aftermarket cool stuff that i used to see on the guns at makarov.com. ?????? ext ported bbls and such? or if someone could tell me a good source for ANY aftermarket accessories, please let me Know. replacement parts are easy to come by, i mean the aftermarket stuff. So if what if its a curio? its a firearm that works,are you saying that a 9mm round out of an $1100 Hk with a 3.5 in bbl is more effective than a 9mm out of a $300 kel tec or a 150$ hi-point? in a small split house(kinda rough neighborhood) i live upstairs, so walls not a prob.if rounds are flying in a small space, i dont want to go deaf(cz52) but i might have to use it as a club,wich i cant do with a kel tec. like i said if i could trade it tward something more suitable(cz82).who knows, i might like it. how is recoil wise out of this gun comparable to? whats my stopping power compared to? i know penetration is great,but wanted to know. google pics of cz52 custom under google images and youll even see some with american mag releases!!! im thinkin bout keepin this one, playin with it and maybe a duracoat and heavy mods? i dont know, you cz fella's seem that youd bet your life on your cz, so i might have the CZ virius?!? i guess ill know when i give my range report!!

Certan s&w 9mm mags fit, they had one at the gunshow 2 weeks ago with an aftermarket 30 round S&w 9mm mag, kinda like they make their sub 200o rifles that take beretta,glock,s&w mags and such. ne ways, this would be my main house gun for the moment and i can only choose one. i understand they are 2 totally diff peices, but im just askin for opinions from my fellow shooters, thats all

Just aquired a cz52 in GREAT SHAPE, have a chance to trade for a kel tec p11 straight across,always wanted one. i havnt shot either yet, what would you do personally, my main thing is that the p11 is concealable, and can take a 30 round s&w 59 mag!!! but the cz 52 has something about it, like it was ment to fight with and shoot...... Experience and pros and cons on both please. mine came with the new firing pin,extractor and extended slide release, and 268 rounds,and rosewood grips the kel tec would come brand new in box, but with nothing. this wouldnt be a trade, i have one gentleman lookin at the cz(even though i JUST got it) and im lookin at the kel tek cuz its avail. nd my cz is in MINT cond. should i keep the cz, and just save for a kel tek?Since i have no experience with either??

if i wanted to have this set up,i'd go with a glock 17, extended bbl (just an inch or so l like lone wolf ones) then slap your stock on it,have a gen 3 since it'd be a sbr you should be able to throw a vertical foregrip with a flashlight! maybe mall ninja,maybe new age pdw?!? maybe not exactly what im talking about, but ....

If you ride A bike alot, considder a sholder holster, im 6"2' and 175, kinda skinny, but it dissapears in a leather jacket...

Well i have a friend, who has a buddy we got to shoot on his land once, but kinda hard to get all 3 of us together at once. Does anyone have any land that they wanna shoot on sometime? i could pay$$, or offer coyote, wild pig, or any other vermin exterminitation in trade if need be or good old fashoned work! I just want to find some woods with 100 to maybe 300 yards for shooting, sighting in and having SAFE & RESPONSIBLE fun.Camping and hunting if possible, but not neccisary.... I miss being able to just go buy 20 or 30 bucks worth of ammo, drive 20 to 40 mins, shoot an hour or two and come home and clean my girls!!! (Dont tell my girlfriend though, shes jealous that i spend so much time talkin about or messin with the guns or tgo & tfl already, haha!!) Anyone help me out on this????

So if its PRIVATE land then im good? Same with me, in FL its ok if your outside city limits,you can shoot all day, thats all that matters there. kinda strange...

Actually this is not a "new design" as so mentioned,There was a gun a whille back called the autorevolver by mateba, in .44 mag and .357 mag. While neat, this version does not have the mechinism that the autorevolver had, just same bbl.placement... see MATBEA auto revolver from the 80's...

You can convert the g22 to left hand config., but i believe your refering to the ak bulpup as far as injuries go, ive heard of the ak breraking left handed shooters noses when fired.

Mags are ALOT cheaper too and it has a side scope mount Plus 1 on that. Sorry i have experience with the mini 14 not the 30. Solid,well built, decent groups. its all in what you want to give. Saiga

Im in! Also added a link for Daytona,i'm there a sometimes and in ft walton also, strangely enough TGO keeps me comming back! I think you guys put somethin on the website, kinda like how they used to do the subliminal messasage thing !lol The dot near ft walton(in Shalimar) is for my little brother(16) who just got his first gun a 10/22 and he's been cruzin the boards alot lately.

Thats awsome man, your friend and you are lucky to have each other. Now the BEST thing you could do for him is, take him out shooting with your new EGR(Evil Green Rifle) and SHOW him how happy you are to have it and shoot it, show him those clover groups at a hundred yards, turn around with a big grin and say "Thanks Partner"! I had to read that twice to get it and im still laughing 20 mins later! Well played sir, well played.
