It was a great match, any time I don't see a bunch of strong, weak, tac sequence, pick this card, shoot all this color, or don't shoot this color it makes me happy.  JJ I've got a video or two of you somewhere if you want it.  Haven't went through them all yet nor have I decided the best route to get them to people.  Wanted to let you know though.

Anybody in East TN do any custom finishing other than the typical stuff?  I know tac adv does parkerizing, cerakote, and melonite, and predator has the ceramic coating.  Looking for a NP3/exo type finish for a glock...

Modified original post to show summer start times for ORSA IDPA. New shooter orientation will be at 0830 and matches will start at 0900 until October of this year. There has been some changes to ORSA 3gun as well but will need to verify. I believe they just added another day for the shoot.

Does that mean you're shooting the match on Friday and give us all the inside scoop?

Haha, I was told Mike may have called him Jeremy a couple times. We used to go all the time together, he quit altogether and I started just going on occasion. I got conned into coaching again, so I'm out until the June match anyways. On a positive note I did find out my kids school system has a shooting team that competes in the scholastic challenge. Just a few more years...

Some of us are on again, off again.  I think I've gone to 6-7 matches in the last 2 years or so  :hiding: .  I'll be back at it at the end of May, after tball is over with.  For a little bit anyway, then we got football!

I'm very familiar with IDPA and USPSA shooting having been involved with them since 2007, but I've never attempted 3 Gun.  Mainly because it is too dang expensive ammo wise.  I will try it though, but have no idea what i'm doing.  I've got most if not all of the gear anyhow.  I do have one question that is bothering me.... What choke to people use most of all in the shotgun?  I've heard modified and IC depending on COF but I was wanting a more exclusive answer I guess.  I mean, if you could only use one choke, regardless of course of fire and ammo needed what would it be?
