When I'm at the range tomorrow I'm planning on trying everything that CCI offers. The other stuff'll have to wait around till I can get a .22 rifle myself.
-
lol My daughter wants one in pink. I have to find out where your ex got hers. I've never seen them in anything but black. I understand now thatCCI's have the highest reliability factor. I'd read they were the best .22LR manufacturer and now I see why. The Feds were on sale and now I know that was, too.

After I fire off the Federals (I've got four hundred of a five-fifty brick left) I'm going to be sticking to the CCI. I had zero failures to feed, extract or fire with using one hundred of the CCI and two failure to fire and extract plus one failure to feed with the Feds. I was more than a little displeased with the ammo. The words I used once I got home were a little harsher though. Going to the range this weekend to see how the remaining Feds do. Like I said, this .22 is fun if not addictive.

It's fun for sure. It's a little finicky with Federal ammo but seems to love CCI stuff well. I'm putting that off to the break in period.
-
Up until now I've owned .45 ACP and 9mm pistols but a .22 is new all around. I picked this up at Guns and Leather in Hendersonville a week ago to break son in on pistols but I think I had just as much fun with it as he did.

This self publishing thing is harder than I thought. lol The Kindle set up is a week from completion but I do have my own eStore. If anyone is interested it's www.createspace.com/3505285.

That concerns me quite a bit. I'm going to look into that brooks. Thank you for ordering and I do hope you enjoy it!

UPDATE: Memoirs of the Walking Dead is now available via Amazon to those interested in ordering one!
-
The Amazon service I'm using said it'll be ready first week of February. It seemed like a good idea to put the word out in advance of the sale date. Funny thing is I've have to wait in line to buy copies of my own book too!
-
Thanks, Major. Yep, it will be available for Kindle. With Kindle outselling traditional books I'd be a fool for not to get it formated for it.
-
Nice 1911 and even better price! Kind of wished I visited the G&L in Hendersonville when I bought my 1911 a couple months back. Of course, I didn't know about it then either.

I'd be so lucky! As far as something special for TGO members autographed. How's "Let's go shoot something undead" sound?
-
Thanks for the advice and my hats off to you. Seriously I always thought non-fiction was harder especially in biographies and tech. All that fact checking and knowing what your talking about is too much for me. I can't wow anyone with facts so I've settled for dazzling everyone with BS. Hopefully I can be top selling in the <He Paid to Have This S%&T Published?> section.

Dying debauched rich and interesting sounds like the perfect way to go. Even though Elvis wasn't a writer it didn't hurt his image it seems. Poe's an icon to me but I'd rather have my fame alive or maybe undead. My bio wil probably say something like "he was boorish, irritating and loved his guns and barbeque too much." Never could get into Hemingway though. Wasn't it subsonic lead posioning that did him in? As far as Mr. Dumas goes, I had a neighbor three years ago that thought The Three Musketeers was a great candy bar. Blew his mind that it was a book before it was a movie. That exchange left me feeling over-educated. It was a feeling I'd never had before. I need better neighbors. Me and tequila (not that reality show hag or whatever she is) had a love affair once but I broke it off. Between writing and my kids I'm well on my way to killing what brain cells I have left. You know, writing fiction makes you crazy...er.

Will do, tlondon. Shouldn't be more than two weeks wait till then.
-
Thank you, Lager. A few people that read the manuscript laughed while asking me why I haven't sought professional help yet. The main remark made is: There's something very wrong with you. I don't know how to take that.
-
Sure. Walk on's for everybody! Just tell them I sent you at the Paramount main gate. Of course Dark Castle and Universal won't stop calling either. Decisions, decisions. Happy meal toys I'm particular about. The figures would have to come with exploding head action. Got to put those little ketchup packets to good use. Anything less would be unacceptable! Honestly, I am doing a sequel. Living with the Walking Dead.
-
That would be fracking awesome but I'd settle for one person liking it... or my first million. Which ever comes first. Honestly, Shaun of the Dead was inspiration.
-
Thank you, brooksjr. Hopefully you will enjoy it. I'm sure some will say it was pretty good while others will say otherwise.
-
Thanks, strelcevina. I hope most will think so. Yep, slow movers unless a walking value meal passes by. If that happens it's more like a brisk jog. I wanted movement but no sprinters. I hate sprinting zombies. Why do some movies have the living die only to come back as some kind of track star?

Sorry, big. Preordering's not an option which kind of sucks. It'd be great if it was.
-
This is going to sound stupid but I hadn't thought of that. It may not be because the press release is set for the end of the month. I figured I'd let everyone know once it was ready. Let me check on that. Thank you for your interest and support, big. I do appreciate it! I should mention it's a comedy so hopefully folks will have the same type of sick humor as I do. Let me check with my publishing team (God I love the sound of that) andI'll get back to you on that preorder.

For any TGO members that may be interested in the book, I've got a discount set up. Enter EGY8E3CP at Amazon and it takes 25% off the $13.95 price. Thank you all for taking the time to read all of this and for the well wishes!

Thank you, strickj! :-)

It's funny and sad in it's truthfulness.
