  1. We had a good experience with B&B Processing in Lewisburg last weekend. They will take deer donations to Hunters for the Hungry with NO FEE ($20 if you dont field dress it).

I believe they will charge $60 to process it for you if you want to keep the meat. You can also pay to process the deer and take some of the meat and donate the rest if you like.

  2. Well, it is true that we (USA) make up about 5% of world population, yet we manage to consume about 30% of resources anually, and produce almost 50% of global waste. Maybe we are overpaid---or just haven't learned to make good use of our incomes. And why are we, as a society, so overwhelmed by debt?

Because we are gluttonous with little self control.

  3. My biggest regret in life is not serving my country. I feel down right guilty at times for not serving. But I agree with Enfield, it's hell on the family, which is why I didn't end up serving.

Don't worry though, I'm sure China will come knocking for their money they loaned us and you will get a chance to serve your country.

LOTS of ways to serve your Country. Dont feel guilty. Get active.

  4. I think I would put a blind where the camera is..

great spot of land you have!

That's kinda what we did. Dad constructed the most amazing portable hunting blind from PVC and weatherproof vinyl. Its got closeable shooting windows and offers nearly 360º of vantage point. We put it up near the barn.. about 20ft in the air with a great look at the location where the camera had shown the deer traffic as well

Dad and I just had a great time in there over the weekend watching the deer come through. I didnt get any shots in on Saturday, but dad got one on Sunday and donated it to Hunters for the Hungry. Being out in the woods, bagging a deer, and helping hungry families = WIN!

Cant wait to go back out there and get one for myself. Enjoy the pics.

Here is the blind in place

Looking out toward the camera point. (the truck tracks lead right to it) Lots of deer coming out of that point into the field.

We can see out to about 200 yards in each direction

I'm glad to hear they are still active and chasing the doe around, I was curious if that had stopped already.

Nope.. love is still in the air. This is as close as he got.. you can see honey through the trees too the right... hope I see him again
