  1. I have to take the recoil pad off so it fits in my safe.
  2. It depends on where in davidson county you are. What you are talking about is hunting coyotes. It is not illegal to hunt in davidson county. There are some really big deer that are taken every year in davidson county. You will need the proper hunting license and to follow TWRA rules. The most important is yo must be at least 100 yards away from a dwelling unless you have permission. You can find info here: http://www.state.tn.us/twra/ I don't believe there is a season for coyotes, meaning you can hunt all year. Do a little research on hunting regs for davidson county on twra's website and you should find your answer.
  3. I got an AR-50 about a month ago but yesterday was the first time I have had a chance to shoot it. TGO member Jeremiah and myself were doing a little shooting out on some property I hunt on south of Fairview.
  4. Sorry for the crappy quality but all I had at the time was my phone. I can describe the shot in one word...AWESOME! That beast is a blast(literally) to shoot. Watch the stuff on the table get blown off by the gases. Recoil was less than my Tikka T3 .270. Now I have to get a scope mounted and really start having some fun. (clicking on the pic will take you photobucket to see the poor quality video)
  5. Those are great. To bad the people who need to see them probably will not.
  6. That's cool. Nice shooting. I love making small groups.
  7. BS. I think you need to send me your 1911's so I can verify that claim!
  8. So Jason, Do you like wearing women's clothes? That is what the ad is for when I looked at it.
  9. Doesn't matter what you get as long as it is a Ruger.
  10. Congrats on your PM9. It is a great little gun.
  11. Found several things. First up is WWII era USAAF Emergency Sustenance Vest. Found several old leather holsters. Here is the coolest one. It is from 1942. Also found some old ammo and guns. I am going to help him sell all of this off. i will get pics of the ammo and guns up later. Here are the guns I found: Browning Superposed Browning Light 12 Browning Light 20 Winchester 94 30-30
  12. Monell's - they have a couple of locations in nashville.
  13. I have been using Powerbelt bullets for a couple of years. Very accurate bullet. My cousin, who also shoots powerbelt, and I did have a small problem with them. That was little or no expansion on a short yardage shot. We both were shooting the copper series, 195 grain with 100grains of Triple 7 powder. Both shots were in the 35-40 yard range and we got complete pass thru with no expansion. Both deer died but we had to track them farther than we should have. On longer shots I have gotten great expansion. Overall I like powerbelt.

    Best Hot Wings.

I thought I was the only one who mixed Franks Red Hot and ranch. That has to be my favorite dippin sauce. It is also good on a turkey and dressing sandwhich.
  15. Same here. I learned to shoot a shotgun on my grandads Model 11. If it says Model 11 on it, then it is a Remington. The Remington Model 11 was a clone of the Browning A-5. They got license from Browning to make the Model 11. My Model 11 even lists the Browning patents numbers on the barrel. Great old shotgun.

Another place that has great wings is Ritchie's Hot & Spicy Kastle in Madison. Ritchie is an immigrant from Nigeria. Super nice guy and has a great little restaurant. He deep frys his wings naked then coats them in a very good hot sauce. For those who like insanely hot sauce, he has some. It is by far the hottest stuff I have ever tried. He doesn't advertise it but locals know about it. I was waiting on some food one day when i heard someone ask for some. Well, being the bad ass that I am, I asked to sample the hot sauce. He dipped a toothpick half way into the sauce. 30 minutes later my chest was still hurting from this stuff:stare: Btw, he also makes a great cajun catfish and dirty rice.
  17. I had one and sold it. They are a fun gun to play around with. The kids and I had a ball shooting stuff with 410 shells. I had bought it as a play/deer gun. The gun was not accurate enough with the 45's for my liking, so I sold it. Of course, it is not meant to be a hunting gun. For a self defense/truck gun it is just fine. Here is pic of my son shooting The Judge with 410 shells.
  18. that gives me an idea. I could get an extra long bi-pod and put wheels on the end...
  19. It's a little heavy to carry around in the woods...
  20. I have two that are my favorites depending on what the weather is doing. If it is not raining or snowing I like to carry my Marlin 1895 in 45-70. Had the barrel cut down to 16". This makes it short, compact, easy to carry and still balances very well. I find myself grabbing this gun the most to go deer hunting. If the weather is lousy, I grab my Tikka T3 in .270. It has a synthetic stock and stainless barrel. It is also light, easy to carry and very easy to clean. These two are my current "favorites". What are yours....

    Best Hot Wings.

Haven't tried that yet. I will the next time I go. I love the place and right now I am working about 3 blocks from the Broadway location. Love going there for lunch.

The Brewhouse/Mojo Grill wings are great. Hemi is right about them being big. Their chipolte barbeque wings are great. They also have a great spicy ranch dipping sauce. Get you a bowl of gumbo or one of their bisque's of the day and some wings and a nice cold beer and you have a great meal. I also like Hooters 3 Mile Island wings. They are really great the next day cold right out of the refrig.
