As Joe stated you will not get approved. Also you will save money in the long run if you just develop a relationship with a local dealer. Once they know who you are you can get some good deals.

I like .308 when I'm shooting a bolt gun. The Remington 700 SPS Tactical would probably work out well for you. You can get it in either caliber. I would take the Hogue stock off and sell it on eBay and replace it with a HS Precision or a McMillan. And you will have a tack driver with a little practice.

Here is a IR video of some suppressors being shot. It shows just how fast they heat up. You can see the barrel and gas tube change color just as fast as the suppressor. Very cool video.

This had potential to be a pretty good show, but it is so cheesy that I can hardly watch.

Take what Magic is saying seriously. A kaboom with a 5.56 sucks and can hurt but one with a .50 BMG can be deadly. I would save my money for something a little more stout.

FWIW I know some guys who fish out of PCB and they told me tar balls have been washing up there since last week. It is moving east. I was in Gulf Shores AL last week and it has been moving more and more east each day. There wasnt much oil at all when we were down there but I have seen pictures from yesterday and they are getting impacted pretty hard now.

The SPS Tac. has a Hogue overmold stock which is junk IMO. The LTR comes with a HS Precision stock. The LTR also has a fluted barrel.

What are you going to do with it? What caliber are you looking to buy?

I got home from Gulf Shores (just a few miles west of Orange Beach) yesterday and it look nothing like that last week. We saw a few tar balls and just a few spots of oil. What a shame....

I live in White House and never heard anything about this. White House is still a pretty small town, but we do get alot of interstate traffic stopping in town to eat and get gas. I figured it would have been in our little community paper.
