I have an xd 40 bitone that I carry daily. I like it. It is definitely an upgrade from the sigma. I used to have a sigma 40ve and it doesnt hold a candle to the xd.

Patterson, Muschamp on Tennessee's list? January, 13, 2010 Jan 13 8:48 AM CT Email Print Share By Richard Durrett ESPN.com's Mark Schlabach said they should be. He says Tennessee's first call should be to Will Muschamp, the head coach-in-waiting at Texas. Muschamp has SEC pedigree as a player at Georgia and defensive coordinator at LSU and Auburn. Schlabach then writes this: If Tennessee can't pry Muschamp away from Texas, TCU's Gary Patterson and Connecticut's Randy Edsall should be high on the Volunteers' list, too. Ole Miss' Houston Nutt would be another good choice. At least he could win with star recruiter Ed Orgeron's players again. David Climer in The Tennessean also mentions Muschamp and Patterson as candidates the Vols should consider. He writes: Other names that came up in the last coaching search likely will be revisited — Gary Patterson of TCU, Chris Petersen of Boise State, Tim Brewster of Minnesota, Troy Calhoun of Air Force and Texas defensive coordinator and head coach-in-waiting among them. Again, when a big job comes up, you should expect to see Muschamp, Patterson and Petersen's names attached to it. Climer also threw out the name of Jon Gruden as a possibility. This is another one of those "top jobs" that all three would have to consider if offered. It's a solid SEC school with a ton of tradition, despite some off-the-field issues of the past season. If you were Tennessee, who would you hire?

Refit barrel for match grade accuracy means?
Alpha7 replied to Alpha7's topic in Gunsmithing & Troubleshooting
So, It would probably be worth the 105.00 to have that done as opposed to the 190.00 Springfield Match Grade barrel? -
What exactly does it mean when the Springfield Custom Shop says refit barrel for match grade accuracy? What is the difference in that and say a regular match grade barrel? What all does it entail? Etc.

I am currently one of the candidates for a 911 dispatcher job in Chattanooga for Hamilton County. I was interviewed last week. They said something about a one year probationary period and something about part time. Did yours say anything about that? I will find out before I take the job if they make the offer exactly what they were talking about.

Wow, This is bad Knoxville fire officials and university police were on campus after Kiffin's announcement as students burned mattresses and gathered around the athletic department building in hopes of blocking Kiffin from leaving campus. It was not clear if Kiffin was still on campus at the time.
-
Heck, Orgeron could have had the head coaching job. Stupid move going to USC in my opinion.
-
This from espn Kiffin will bring his father and defensive coordinator, Monte Kiffin, and assistant head coach and recruiting coordinator Ed Orgeron to Southern California with him. We are totally screwed muschamp or no muschamp.
-
If we can get muschamp we will be aight.

I had written a letter to my local representative and to a senator recently about how you can never get ahold of anyone at the Department of Labor when checking on your unemployment claims. I also mentioned in the letter about the DOS and the need for more people and for them to get some way to speed it up. I doubt my letter had anything to do with it but who knows. I just sent the leter a couple days ago. I do know that right after I sent out the letter in the mail and emailed them I got almost immediate response from the Department of Labor.

2 part question regarding HCP
Alpha7 replied to White Goodman's topic in Handgun Carry and Self Defense
Unforunately my friend you got ripped off as there should have been zero charge other than the 115 you paid at the DMV. -
Nope, You must have gotten yours in there for the first batch of 10. Mine got in there In September 09 and I got my permit in December.
-
It is late and I dont remember if I read this or not but did you clean the gun before you fired ANY rounds through it? You should always do that first. Try cleaning it real good and lubing it up and see what happens.

Basically the form you were given was probably for cogent finger printing deal and you are supposed to call and setup an appointment. The kpd no longer does the finger printing but it is instead done at @WORK Personnel Services 7212 Kingston Pike # 108, Knoxville - (865) 212-3853 Why did you drive all the way to maryville to get finger printed or were you just in the area? -
I think we can establish this was caused by reloads and reloads are not to be used in the taurus pt 1911 or really for any model.
