I aint gonna argue with ya fall guy. I know im right. That is all that matters. My attorney has advised me if I am there and they are in my home shoot em if need be.
-
Of course they will ask questions. It is how you answer them that can get you in trouble. You should advise the police, I was in imminent fear of my life. Then advise them I would like to cooperate with this investigation but before I do I need to consult with an attorney. I reckon I will be doing hard time then cuz if someone breaks into my house which is basically what this fella did he is getting capped. At the very least he is getting shot in the leg or something. If someone breaks in while you are there they are up to no good and usually intent on bodily harm.

In general, one (sometimes more) of a variety of conditions must be met before a person can legally use the Castle Doctrine: An intruder must be making (or have made) an attempt to unlawfully and/or forcibly enter an occupied home, business or car. THE DUDE JUST WALKED IN and unlawfully entered. The intruder must be acting illegally(again he walked in uninvited that is acting illegally)—e.g. the Castle Doctrine does not give the right to attack officers of the law acting in the course of their legal duties The occupant(s) of the home must reasonably believe that the intruder intends to inflict serious bodily harm or death upon an occupant of the home If he is in the home and is walking towards you like this gentleman was the thought is there of bodily injury or death. The occupant(s) of the home must reasonably believe that the intruder intends to commit some other felony, such as arson or burglary (why the hell else would they be there DUH?) The occupant(s) of the home must not have provoked or instigated an intrusion, or provoked or instigated an intruder to threaten or use deadly force Dude didnt instigate dude to come in. In all cases, the occupant(s) of the home must be there legally, must not be fugitives from the law, must not be using the Castle Doctrine to aid or abet another person in being a fugitive from the law, and must not use deadly force upon an officer of the law or an officer of the peace while they are performing or attempting to perform their legal duties. TN is a no retreat state in your home from what I understood. So according to the above deal dude could have capped him and been in the right.

Way way right, If they are inside your home you have a right to gun them down no questions asked. You do not have to retreat. It is expected that if someone is in your home without your permission it is automatically assumed there is likelyhood of imminent bodily injury or death. Also, I was told this in carry class and it even said it on the carry video (even though the video sucks) it was still dead on on that part.

That makes me mad cuz when I bought mine it the big one was 64.00 and this smaller one was 39.99 there is no question get the bigger one if they are the same price.

According to their data out of 146 shootings (by police I believe) 165 grain jhp golden sabres had 137 one stop shots.

I carry remington golden sabre 165 grain jhp in my xd. According to sanow ballistic test they had 93% one stop shot rating which was higher than any other ammo tested. Gold dots were on the list but I think they were only about 88%

It is good stuff. I dont like the 180 grain not enough velocity. I prefer the 165 grain bonded. This supposedly has taken the place of the former Winchester Ranger ammo. It mushrooms well and what not to. This is what I would buy below. http://www.midwayusa.com/viewProduct/?productNumber=119031

XD coming home from repair and custom shop
Alpha7 replied to Alpha7's topic in Gunsmithing & Troubleshooting
They didnt They did the combat trigger job with overtravel adjustment, and barrel refitted and the repair shop just played with themselves and never worked on the pistol as far as I can tell cuz it still locks plum up only it is worse now because now I cannot push up on the magazine and hit the mag release now I have to hit the mag release and then pull the damned thing out. I am going to hate it if that damned thing ever jams. So, I reckon I will just have to be careful. I plan on putting 250 rounds through it on Saturday so hopefully that should help with the magazine tightness. I can tell that the gun has tighter lock up now that the barrel was refitted. -

Scarface - imfdb :. guns in movies :. movie guns :. the internet movie firearms database
-
You have obviously never seen scarface with al pacino in it. I thought everyone had seen that. In several seens throughout the movie tony montana (al pacino) carries a beretta cheetah and actually kills a cop with it.

Dont know I shot him in each ass cheek.

I like my pachmayr tactical on my xd. I like it better than the slip on hogue grip I had with the sigma. One thing it has is that it has little holes in it so that it keeps my hands from getting to sweaty and it was alot easier to put on than the hogue.

Phantom6 does alot in of em in his shop you might could get his input on it before you "attempt" it.

When it happened to me in athens I did the same thing this gentleman did assessed the situation but had the gun ready. However, that was years ago and if the dude was 6 feet inside my place and what not and was walking towards me and I could not see his hands I would have to shoot. The dude in athens hands were clear but was not sure whether he was armed or not until I assessed the situation.
-
Unarmed or not if the is inside the home the assumption of great bodily injury or death is is also there. Therefore, he could have put a 45 through this dude and would not have gone to jail for it as due to the castle law you do not have to retreat if inside your home.
-
Maybe you should have dusted him. One less illegal we would have to worry about. I bet if you had yelled La migra La Migra (immigration) while pointing that gun at him he would have run instead of standing there like a dunce.
