I think they are doing 3 gun at Gallatin next Saturday.

Our members who went to the MS State match did very well. Michael won SSP Sharpshooter and got bumped to EX. Norma took ESP DC and high overall for the match. Missed you yesterday but way to go.

Glad you enjoyed it. Competition shooting adds a whole new dimension to shooting. It is great for testing your skills and equipment.

Fun day at the range. John had a good mix of challenging stages for us. It was great to be able to meet all the new guys and see everyone. I hope everyone had a good time.

It is going to be a great match. The stages will be fun and challenging. Michael has worked hard to get the best sponsors to support the match. All donated prizes are random drawing so everyone has a chance to get something really good.

Dale has really spoiled us with his setup work on the range. Anyone who wants to come a little early and help will be greatly appreciated.

If you are going to shoot like that John, I would try to keep it.

The rain stopped before we started and turned into a beautiful day. Thanks to everyone who came out. It was great to meet all the new people. Come shoot with again sometime.

If you join IDPA but don't have your number yet you can still shoot. We will submit your scores once you get your number.

Anyone can shoot the classifier but to get an official classification you have to join IDPA. NRA is only required for MCTS membership not for visitors to our matches.

Very true John. The classification times for SSP get pretty tough after this. This is a great match for anyone to benchmark their shooting skills. Come on out and shoot with us.

NRA membership is required for members to meet our insurance requirements. It's going to be a great day to be at the range for a really fun match. Come on out and shoot with us.

In a low light situation even with a flashlight 3 dot and FO sights can be hard to see. Night sights are much easier for this. I first realized this getting ready for an IDPA style night match. Even with the flashlight I had real trouble finding the sights on my normal competition gun. I switched to my pistol with night sights and it was much improved.
