I have the XD40 and would recommend it to anyone. Points well, shoots well and functions flawlessly.

I asked about it being an SC because either the camera angle is funny or you have really big hands because it looks like a toy gun.

Those look cool. Very unique.

Is that an SC model?

That level of focus would be great. Hope I get there someday.

For me the choice was simple. I don't have a lot of guns so I purchased a good gun in a good caliber, XD40. Then I tried shooting IDPA to learn to shoot my gun better.

It is amazing how easy it is to shoot poorly or fumble mag changes when under the pressure of time. I know my mind races so fast sometimes that I finish a string and have no idea if I even hit anything.

I am sorry I missed it. I had planned to go but had some school work that just had to get finished. Sounds like everyone had a good time.

This may be old news to some of you but if you reload it can save you some money. Midsouth Shooters Supply has their main distribution warehouse in Clarksville Tn. They don't have a store front here but you can pickup orders. Their prices are good and if you are needing primers or powder you can save the shipping and HazMat charges. I looked at ordering a box of primers and a pound of powder from Midway recently and the total cost was going to be around $100. Picking up the same order from Midsouth cost me $42. Might be worth the trip for some of you. I think there is a conspiracy going on at MCTS. The first time I shoot well their software mysteriously messes up. The next week I shoot like I'm holding a jackhammer in my weak hand and it works fine. Just joking of course. Just found this site and thought I would say hi. Rick

Recently picked up an XD40. I only have a 200 rounds through it but I am very pleased with the feel. The gun points as well as any I have ever shot.
