  1. The best fights I recall from high school is when girls are fighting, they are just down right mean.  At least when boys fights, its usually honorable and its up in on the ground wrestling with a few punches.  Girls on the other hand, pull, scratch, claw, use any object that is nailed to the wall as a tool to hit or throw, and they are usually just crazy.   Sniper women, and women in the military, I would think they are special killers or capable of killing unmerciful!

Anyone that doesn't believe this has never been through a Divorce. :hiding:

  2. It's worth mentioning that there are different ways of open carrying, and it's the ones that make the open carrier look like a pompous asshat crying "look at me, I have a gun which makes me badass" that makes a lot of people get turned off to open carry.  There was also the argument about how an open carrier might be the first one shot, which is speculative at best.

Either way, I support the right of open carry as long as its just that, carrying openly.  Carry your weapon for your own defence if needed, don't turn it into a statement.

    ^^ This ^^

  3. In my opinion, the best way to value a gun is 'completed gunbroker' auctions. Not ones that end with a ridiculous reserve and no bids, but actual auctions that often start with a penny and no reserve. I've sold 'a few' guns the last two years, some on here and other forums, but the most consistent values and sales come from GB. The best sellers on GB sell that way. It generates the most views and the most bids.
I've personally never owned a blue book as they are out of date before the ink dries in this digital age. Look for completed auctions with excellent pics from reputable sellers and you will be able to ascertain a pretty good value.

Fourtyfive beat my to it. "THIS"

  4. The debates haven't happened in a while but the people remain. Probably a few you wouldn't expect.

To say that "most" TGO members are craping on people that OC is like saying "most" people that OC are mall ninjas. I'm sure there are a few that push the issue over the top on either side, but I feel safe to say "most" don't really give a damn if you OC or CC as long as you have the choice to do so. Again my  :2cents:

  5. What I find amusing is that most members of TGO like to take a big crap on anyone who carries openly. But now that this is the only way to carry legally in VA it seems to be suddenly acceptable.

    My oh my the irony.

And you know who you are...

:stir:       Your painting with a pretty broad brush. There many be a few here that feel that way, but saying "most members of TGO like to take a big crap on anyone who carries openly." is pushing it a bit far. I could care less if you want to OC, it's up to you. What I've seen here is most don't agree with any one looking like Sgt. Rock when they do OC. Just my :2cents:

  8. So what your saying is, order the stickers, let you take 2 months to mail them to me and then I will get some "shall not be infringed stickers" as well? Got it!

There you have it David, "No good deed goes unpunished"

    Merry Christmas to all

  9. When I was younger, say 20+ years ago, I modified everything.  Cars, trucks, motorcycles, ATV, jetskis, guns, myself (weight, working out, hair styles), and etc, but I never modified women, always kept them they way they came (they usually modified themselves).  Anyway where was I, experience has taught to me.......................just keep it simple and the way it left the factory.   Reliability means more than window dressing and some performance enhancement gadgets.  Trust me, it may sound cool, may even be cool, but aftermarket items, and DIY tricks, increase the risk of failure and malfunction.  Trust me, I use to hold hands with Murphy a lot, but I noticed Murphy showed up a lot more when I tinkered with something vs. when I left good stuff alone.

The key word to remember is "KISS".

  10. I have Pearce +2 on my G26 mags but got the Tartan +2 for my G43. Both types work with no problems. If Pearce made a +2 for the G43 I may of bought them, but I'm glad I bought the Tartan's, the price is high but worth it. IMHO

Pearce made of polymer and Tartan made of billet aluminum that's why the big cost difference.

  11.

These are the specs for the G43, the one I bought is pretty close to this. I like a 3 lb trigger pull or less for target shooting, but this is not a gun you would take to the range for a day of shooting. It is what it is, a Glock. The trigger on my G19 and G26 are about the same as the G43 and I can live with that. The only thing extra I invested in were TTI mag extenders and Alien holster. If your trigger is heaver then what the spec calls for see what Glock recommends before putting more money into something that may not work out for you. :2cents:

    • Trigger Pull: ~2.5 kg / ~5.5 lbs.
    • Trigger Travel: ~12.5 mm / ~0.49 in.
