  1. I saw the S&W at Academy yesterday, they look nice, but I just don't like the feel. They just don't seem to be balanced right and I think there heavier then a Mark III.

I have a Mark III, 22/45 Light, GSG 22/45 and a Single Six, I think I will pass on the Smith. :2cents:

  2. You can buy a new Colt Competition series of pistol for that price.  PSA or Colt?  Let me think about that one.  LOL

I would have to think about it too, Colt is not what it used to be. :hiding:

  3. This joke contains no politics, no race, no swearing… and yet I laughed so hard tears ran down my face. Best Joke I’ve read in years.

As a guitarist, I play many gigs. Recently I was asked by a funeral director to play at a graveside service for a homeless man. He had no family or friends, so the service was to be at a pauper’s cemetery in the back country. As I was not familiar with the backwoods, I got lost.

I finally arrived an hour late and saw the funeral guy had evidently gone and the hearse was nowhere in sight. There were only the diggers and crew left and they were eating lunch.

I felt badly and apologized to the men for being late. I went to the side of the grave and looked down and the vault lid was already in place. I didn’t know what else to do, so I started to play.

The workers put down their lunches and began to gather around. I played out my heart and soul for this man with no family and friends. I played like I’ve never played before for this homeless man.

And as I played ‘Amazing Grace,’ the workers began to weep. They wept, I wept, we all wept together. When I finished I packed up my guitar and started for my car. Though my head hung low, my heart was full.

As I opened the door to my car, I heard one of the workers say, “I never seen nothin’ like that before and I’ve been putting in septic tanks for twenty years.”

    Apparently, I’m still lost…

  4. After being together for 12 years, what's mine is hers. [emoji6]

We have been together over 20 years, what's mine is hers and what's hers is hers too. :dropjaw:

    'Cept for your name. ;)

Sometimes it works better that way. :pleased:  Not for everyone, but it works for us.

  5. I got 3 and I didn't get the first one until I was 48. A divorce will make you make you question your judgment, a second divorce will make you question your sanity. It was after the second I got the tattoos, go figure! and that's why I never thought about getting a name. :dropjaw:

    congrats on 25!

  6. I was drafted in the Army and served in the Signal Corps :usa:

I was lucky, some of my friends weren't. It was many moons ago, but seems like yesterday. Enough said

  7. I hope my original post didn't come across as though I was offended or mad that he thought it was something else. If it did, that's my fault for not explaining correctly. I was just caught off guard since I'd never associated the skull with the marvel hero.

P.S. Shatner didn't need lines, women loved him anyway Lol

I guess this is where I differ from most, I don’t care what other people think. It's all mind over matter, "I don't mind and it don't matter."

  8. It is typical for a lot of multi-season TV series though, it will be one of the hotter topics throughout the off-season.  It's the modern version of "Who do you think shot J.R.?"

You took the words right out of my keyboard, "Who shot J.R."

  9. I have been drooling over the new Smith & Wesson SW22 Victory. I guess I’m going to have to check it out.

I checked one out yesterday, they look pretty nice but they are heavier then a MKIII. I'm looking to go with a 22/45 lite so the weight of the S&W takes it out of the running for me. I also have a MKIII that eats anything, and is a tack driver. As for T-Bolts, no thank you.
