Apparently this must be something going on for a while now. The way the customer service rep acted, this was a prtty big problem. It just pissed me off so bad that i didn't bother sending it back a second time. Somebody bought it off me to put an optic on it and maybe some yankee hill flip up sights. DSA makes great FALs but suck at uppers

I bought a DSA ZM -4 upper two months ago. When I took it to the range the rear sight had to be moved all the way to the left to even hit paper.Upon closer inspection I noticed the front sight was canted. I called and spoke to the customer service rep who stated they were telling people to just send them back and they will send a new one. That statement alone told me there was a big problem with canted sights. Two weeks later I get it back and it does the same thing. Just a word of caution to those interested in the DSA AR uppers. Total POS!!!

Wednesday, June 15, 2011 On Monday, June 20, commissioners in White County will meet to discuss and vote on a proposed anti-gun resolution regarding the future of new firing ranges within the county. Although it has not been released to the public yet, the proposed anti-gun resolution brought forth by Sheriff Oddie J. Shoupe, is expected to restrict new gun ranges by requiring at least one-mile, by direct line survey, from any residence. This would mean that the range would have to own or control approximately a one-mile radius containing 3.14 square miles of land, a requirement that is unrealistic and could be viewed as an obvious attempt to ban any future firing ranges within White County. If passed, this anti-gun resolution would ban all future ranges - public or private, including those on agricultural lands or recreational ranges often used for archery and paintball. The one-mile buffer zone sets a dangerous precedent; it is restrictive and excessive even for existing Tennessee standards as the discharge of firearms while hunting is only limited to 100 yards. The anti-gun resolution will come before the full body of commissioners this Monday, June 20 at 7:00 p.m. on the third floor of the White County Courthouse in Sparta. The NRA encourages you to attend this meeting in opposition of this overreaching anti-gun resolution. An allotted time for public comment will be part of the agenda, so be sure to arrive on time to ensure a chance to speak.

Like I said in other posts delton is one of the few companies that didn't screw their customers before and after the election. I have 2 of their rifles and thinking of buying another.
-
I would beg to differ abot Del-tons parts being subpar. Their lower parts kits are DPMS. Delton does not make thier own lower parts kits. So go ahead and pay your extra money for another AR. My delton will keep rockin on.

RIA all of the way!!!!! Mine has been flawless
-
Look at a Del-Ton. Can't be beaten for the money. Fit and finish are awesome. And they were one of the few companies that did not screw people by jacking up their prices during the 2008 election.

I have to say. One of the main reasons I don't buy locally anymore is the gunstore attitude. I want to support locals but if you are going to act like I am bothering you then I will buy online.

Don'y know about the keltec but the hipoint is dead accurate. I have never had a FTF or any malfunction what so ever.

Shooters Depot is great, Carters is good, Sportsman supply on Hixson pike is'nt worth the trip. The owner is a jerk. God forbid if you use your debit card to pay for your range time. You get part one of the lecture series entitled "The debit card companies are screwing you".

i have yet to hear bad things about any of the RIA's. They are simply awesome. They are by far an awesome deal for the money. I bought mine for 275 otd about 3 years ago. Kimbers are fine but there is no way I am paying that much for a 1911 that has a 7-8 round capacity. 1911's are hard to screw up.
