  1. Well, 19.5 yrs after there passing I still think of Coddo and Poddo all the time. They to were just mice.
  2. I had a decked out unmarked a few years ago that only cost about $2500 for it all with dual stage siren. I heard that the Chattanooga PD was spending 12k or more per car for the low profile light bars, cage, decals and other emergency equipment . So all the remotely located lights in the grill, inside, and around the plate -yada - yada are most likely costing less than these clear LED light bars.
  3. The wife and I are looking at getting a metal roof put on our 1100 Sqft house. It is not super high or super steep so there really isn't a pucker factor. It's 46ft long and 16ft on each side. So it's a front and a back with a ridge across the top. There are three dishes to remove and toss as well as the old ridge cap. A coworkers dad who has done everyone's roof at work came and quoted me $2475 for felt and a 40yr metal. Does this sound right? At least within 5% high or low? I really want this guy to do it but want to make sure the price is right. Oh, the 1 layer of shingles will stay under neath.

    G19: Gen 3 vs Gen 4

I have had great results with Gen4's but I have had the same experience with Gen3's. If I had huge and I mean really big I would see the need for a Gen4 or of I had really, really small. I prefer the Mag release better on a Gen 4 and I do think the dual recoil spring absorbs a little of the recoil.
  5. I have done all those little upgrades at one time or another but I have found I like them best the way they come. The Felcrum trigger or whatever is great.
  6. The difference in the reset between a LCR and Smith is huge. That is the only gripe I have with an LCR. Holstet and grip selecotion is slim with the LCR.

    New XDS

I bet it will be the same price as the XD 45's which will be just a few dollars less than a Glock 36. You right, it should be less than a fullsize though.
  8. WIFE SAID I'M GOOD. Im going to get it tomorrow. I dont remember if it was a square but or a round but. Which should I prefer?

    New XDS

Yeah I think they are smaller. Ruger messed up, they have been planning a LC45 but who knows.
  10. I can understand that. I dont know if I would rather it be blue, nickel, or stainless. It has a serial number starting with "C" and then just numbers. I think that puts it at about 67-69
  11. Why a blue over a Nickel? Catalog prices add like $20 for nickel.
  12. I rode in a 12 hour HUMVEE ride from Bagram to KAF, facing backwards in the rear gun. I was so happy to see KAF. The only saving grace was it was about 75%-60% during the trip.
  13. YEAH!
  14. I'm very familiar with the model 36, I'm probably questioning the price more so than anything. It seams like a deal. There are better carry pieces out there, my Grandfather had a 36 that I wish I had is the reason I'm thinking so hard on it.
  15. I bought it. Pictures. I found a 2" S&W 36 nickel today in about 70% or better but with aftermarket grips
  16. YouTube - Broadcast Yourself. Never mind they took it down.
  17. I have shot a 238 and I was impressed. However, I dont see how it has been so popular. It's easy to carry and it's excellent craftsmanship but it kind of reminds me of a Bonds Arm derringer in that its pretty but requires a lot to safely carry and then deploy. My only complaint on a LCR is I short stroke the trigger, and if your used to trigger reset you will to.
  18. Well do you want to squeeze a trigger to shoot or cock it first?
  19. Its on the verge of being heavy enough that IWB carry is what will be comfortable. What style of carry are you thinking. Ill tell you its too heavy for ankle or pocket carry.
  20. Ok hear is another problem. When you travel to IN beware as I dont think TN permit is good there. Never mind as I see it had changed. I got hasseled with IN trying to get info on carrying there before.
  21. Well, you didn't draw your weapon so I don't see anything "wrong" with what you did. The out come was great so maybe you did everything you should have done.
  22. The only problem I have ever seen/heard of with there performamce is they don't like to be ran dry. Make sure she stays a little oily inside.
  23. Im really surprised to hear that.
  24. Being that your so concearned for a safety feature how about a LC9 with a mag safety. If you needed to you could keep a round in the chamber and remove the mag to keep the kids safe. Im a firm believer in always having the gun either on me or somewhere kids cant reach it anyway.
  25. Bersas are pretty damn reliable but the finish is their downfall.
