I always try to support local business when I can but if I find a great deal online I go with it. Now when I say local business I'm talking about a sole proprietor. I could care less about Gander Mtn or Dicks etc. Their prices are disgusting. The last gun I bought new was from Bill's Outpost and I know I will definitely buy from him again. But if I'm looking for ammo or other items I usually find a better deal online.

I know what you mean, it's hard to control the urge to buy a new gun every few months. Especially when awesome deals keep showing up.

This is why my plan over the next few years is to buy fewer guns and more ammo. I would like to have a nice supply not because I'm worried about SHTF situation but because I know that the price of ammo is going to keep going up. I recently bought 800 rounds of 9mm at $8.99 from Cabela's and plan to stock up on .40 as well.

How about we do it the 30th and plan it as a lunch time event. That way it gives us time to eat a nice lunch and then shoot for a few hours. So, should we try to get there around noon? Thoughts, suggestions?

I dunno Kevin, that's 15 over the posted limit. On the other hand you were going with the flow of traffic. My mom always goes to court and is honest with the judge and admits that she made a mistake. Every time the judge throws it out and she only pays court cost. That probably has something to do with the fact that she is a woman though haha. I think it would honestly come down to the judge and what mood he/she is in. And what exactly would your defense be? If it were me, I'd say something along the lines of "your honor I admit that I was speeding but I honestly did not realize it because I was going the same speed as the traffic around me" That's about the only viable defense you could have and that's not exactly bullet proof.

Since a lot of us haven't been there we should probably meet somewhere and have someone lead the way. Oh hey Mike, how nice of you to offer!!!!

I don't blame you at all and I don't think it would be fair for people to expect you to bring the meat. I think everyone should just bring what they want to eat. That way you don't have to mess with it. I'll probably just bring some hotdogs for myself+buns+ whatever I want to drink. I think it would be best if everyone else does the same. As far as which day, it seems like the obvious choice would be Saturday. I don't think Sunday will be very easy for people who have kids.

If you're going to be carrying it in a pocket I like hammerless. However, if it's going to be more of a range gun than a carry piece I think a hammer is nice.

I have both and can honestly say I can't tell a difference in comfort between the Kholster and the Supertuck. That's just me though. YMMV. Wait time on the Supertucks is only a few weeks right now. I think I got mine in about 12-14 days. That was just a few months ago.

I won't be working. I'll be around Knoxville for sure. Might go to the game but I doubt it. Either way we should definitely get a beer. There is also a place downtown a few miles from the stadium that has dead guy on tap. Either way we'll have to meet up!

Sounds like you and I have similar taste. If you ever come to Knoxville you would love the restaurant I work at. We have Dead Guy on Tap as well as 29 other draft beers. The large majority of which are microbrews. Terrapin products are quickly growing on me as well. Terrapin Beer Athens, Georgia Microbrew Ale Pilsner

I used to live on Cherokee Trail. A lot of shady people near there that did things that shady people do. We don't know the full story so it's hard to say if the punishment is extreme. Don't mess with firefighters trying to do their job and you won't get arrested.

I haven't had that particular beer from them but I like quite a few of their other beers. 90 minute IPA is a favorite. Also gotta love this time of year for all the Octoberfest choices. Though I'm not impressed with the Sam Adams this year.
