    Tsunami in Japan

Well tell me, did the tsunami wave actually hit the plant or was it just the quaking that go it? If it was the wave that got the plant then they really did not plan it's location well enough. I know a 9.0 is a bit much to plan against, if not almost impossible but location, location, location. You can built away from tsunami danger.
  2. You might be going a bit 2 far on those video's I over link.
  3. Now I understand your avatar. Until now I just assumed it was you at your day job. The last time I was pulled over, it was before I was carrying and before I had my permit. The officer ask me if there was any firearms in the vehicle. I answered No. When my wife was pulled over a few weeks ago, she was not ask about firearms. It was License, reg, insurance, he came back with her ticket and optional court date. She will be in court disputing it as well. In a state were you are required to inform, such as MI, a 40 second delay in informing the LEO has been ruled in court not immediate enough. That is on handgunlaws.

So far I shoot CCI, Remington and winchester though mine. I am just finishing up the boxes of Remington I have then I am going to be CCI and winchester just because I prefer those band. Mainly because I have more misfires with the Remington in my .22 Rifle, go figure.

    Tsunami in Japan

However, as earthquakes and tsunami's are common in the entire island nation of Japan as much care and backup plans should have been in place. In the number of days since the quake, they should have been able to roll out flexible temporary water hose from point A to B to pipe water up to the plant faster then they can drive trucks up, just a guest. Japan is not a 3rd world nation here. I am sure they could get a water delivery system rigged up quick. O Yea, based on their reaction to our Nuclear Ships, a couple years back, Yes I am shocked that they don't have their plants built to take a 9.0 or 9.5 even. U.S. submarine radiation leak raises concern in Japan U.S. submarine radiation leak raises concern in Japan | Reuters In July 2008, they found the sub had leaked a small amount of radiation, so they informed Japan as it had been inside Japan waters from late March to early April. OK, it is late and I am about to go over board if I don't quit.
  6. Now that is an idea. I will probably give that a try.
  7. Ah, that means you burnt breakfast. Seriously not sure what he has going on there, like those guys that bury beer in the sand, pour gas on it, burn the gas then claim to have cold beer. Per the Mythbusters you only have beer cans that smell like gas.

    Tsunami in Japan

BTW, Particles spewed from wrecked Fukushima power station arrive in California Read more: Nuclear plant chief weeps as Japanese finally admit that radiation leak is serious enough to kill people | Mail Online Since the particles are detectable in CA now, 7,000 or so over the Ocean, It won't take much longer for them to go 2,000 plus miles to reach us in TN. Sure they are just particles, it will only be a slight increase to the normal background we are already use to over here. http://www.scpr.org/programs/airtalk/2011/03/17/radiation-and-weather-patterns/ What will affect weather patterns and the path of radiation coming from Japan? However, I remember when Particles from Chernobyl where detected in CA as well. I remember News footage when they had a geiger counter measuring some guys tennis shoes. BTW, How can they say it is only now on par with Three Mile Island? They are talking like they are going to have to bury this like Chernobyl.

    Tsunami in Japan

I said it at work the day after, this would be nearly as bad as Chernobyl, and several co workers immediately got on to me no it won't. It may not be as bad, but it is going to be pretty close.
  11. ... Some Jobs pay less, have less stress. Higher paying jobs normally have more stress. Sometimes a person has to find what they can balance. I have worked less paying jobs and went home happier then my current job. I also went home with less money.
  12. I barely go to Knoxville and mainly stay on the west side. Last time I was over that was was back in August. Seems I heard they were about to close it then. I knew a bit about the rerouting. As for finding my way around, now that I now for sure I can find what I need I just didn't want to end up over that way and have one of those moments and have to re route on the fly.
  13. Question, is Henley street Bridge Closed in Knoxville? I may need to go down Chapman hwy next week and would like to know before. Seems I heard a while back there was or is some planned worked on that bridge and traffic was going to be re routed. That is an area of Knoxville I try to avoid.
  14. I was a bit green last night. I had my hang over before I went to bed. I knew I was in trouble. I am good now.
  15. Well now we know why it is being delayed. That is probably the real reason. NKA is only a threat to life as they can cause damage, much like any other bio lab could do. I don't see them taking over anyone if they have to cross an Ocean to do it. I mean they can throw some missiles with bombs to cause damage but I can't see them landing troop over an Ocean as well we could just blow them out of the water or air.
  16. I meant I feel good about myself. You have to keep in mind by that post, I had been drinking all day. As Scotty from Star Trek said, Don't drink today, if you are not willing to pay for it tomorrow.
  17. I feel OK now
  18. That was to to easy for u you. Picking on a drunk.
  19. Yup, I am as drunk as you think right now.
  20. No, about the same.
  21. Sorry about thay
  22. I am several GUINNESS in and still up right.
  23. I wont drive. I had a ride here and another ride home. My life and license are both too impotant to risk losing.
  24. I am here every year. First pic. Direct from my phone. I did have to edit to make it work.
