Hey guys I had a few question about the sten mark 2 hoping someones knows about them. I put my Cj5 up for sale and a guy was asking would I be interested in a 1943 sten mark 2 and of course it's a gun, so that's a yes lol. My question is What should I look for to make sure it's authentic and original.Also he said he had two barrels with it one threaded one and the one that came with it. He told me he got it from a ww2 vet who brought it back. So the question I have is would i need to register if I wanted to resell it, as the only reason I'm selling/trading things for the jeep is to finish my other projects.So I would want to put it back up for sale and what would be a fair price on it.I hope someone can help me out thanks ahead of time.

Lots of good information has been said,but there is one Thing I don't really see too many people or actually any mention when it comes to food storage,and that's Canned beef stew. I personally love the stuff.While it's rather high in sodium it has a lot of good points for it in a survival situation, carbs,protein,fat,and sodium all the things we need to survive(I think) lol also has the fiber to keep your regular as well as sugars,vitamins,iron,and calcium. I've got quite a bit of the stuff put up (around 300 cans) Which should last me and mine a while alone,but I also focus on other cheaper items for my food storage Peanut butter and tuna are a main part of mine as well as the typical rice and beans.A variety is good but remember when doing your food storage you need to think about foods you can use to to help you work through the day,For instance when I planned my food storage I ate only the foods i had in storage for a week to make sure I could go through my day to day life on those alone with the rations I had set, Which included going to work,working out,working on my car,shooting and staying up way to late on the weekends lol,also if your really serious about survival situation scout your location for potential outdoor food sources.Rabbits,deer,turkey,hog,domestic animals if you must.Just my 0.2

Yea for right I want my initial press to be for handgun calibers mainly.9mm,40s&w,.45acp,.38 special which I don't think would be to crazy to do for one press,But as i mentioned before I hope to be able to get at least 5 presses for my handgun calibers and my "black rifles" ak's and ar's.I plan also to go the single stage route to load my .300 win,.308win and .338 due to the fact I'm a lot more concerned about accuracy with my big bore rifles. With that said I want for my pistols I want accuracy out of my loads of course,But I also want to be able to put out a good number of loads if I sit down and reload for an evening as I do a lot of shooting drills on my property as well distance pistol shooting for S&G(s***s&giggles). With that say would I be better suited buying lets say a 550 or 650 and adding a case feeder and just going with that?

Alright So I've decided due to my high volume of shooting and consistent want for more and more ammo, I should get into more reloading, My only platform right now is a mec 650,Which I've had great luck with had to work out a few kinks,but after that she runs like a top. Anyways Right now I'm Thinking of going with a dillion 1050 press,eventually I want to get at least 5 dedicated presses,My questions more or less are would the 1050 be to complicated to start with? Being my first press was a progressive but I know the load data is a lot different when your talking forgiveness factor,I feel shotgun loading is probably a lot easier and more forgiving.Also I do want something more less "quick" after I learn all my load data and things to check for. thanks ahead of time

Right, in a perfect world that's very true, but in most zombie movies there is usually a part or two where the zombies are real close and the humans shoot their way out escaping by the skin of their teeth. Only they are using movie guns with unlimited ammo except for when they want to add some tension in the script. So not having unlimited ammo... I'm just sayin, better to be prepared than being dead (soon to be undead) laying in a gutter with zombies munching on your brains like you were the cake at a fat kid reunion. Lol this is true but forsake of arguement, If I'm that close there are 5,12 rounds mags for my p229 and 6 15 rounders for the 226 that will be put to use,which all fit on my carrier vest or the pockets of my cargo's lol and if i can't get out with that i guess I'll be using my boots and my knife lol hopefully soon I can afford to update to some 20 round mags for the 226 and add a 5.7x28 pistol and rifle to my collection

I think *note I think* lol that the whole reason that people say nitrogen is better then vacuum packaging is due to even if an insect some how penetrates your bucket,bag or whatever your food is stored in that the nitrogen absorbs more oxygen.So that the insect would not be able to survive again that's what I've gathered it may not be totally correct or correct at all but that's what I seem to gather out of most of the articles I've read

Where I'm from you trust someone until they give you a reason not too, Which I understand is some peoples perspective isn't the way you should be but it's the way i am lol.Given the situation though (SHTF or be it zombies which in my opinion is SHTF lol) My guard would be more up and my trust factor would be reduced,but with that said if someone can hold there on and help with defenses etc, I wouldn't turn them away.Pending an interview and examination for zombie bites lol

You never have enough food,ammo or water lol and speaking of which when the SHTF or zombies come whichever happens first lol I'm not sure how long you would last at your house, unless you have a well or some other type of water source. here on my property we have two wells and a creek which are good water sources and I have enough can goods for a 10 group company for 5 years literally, but even then I wouldn't want to hold up at my place for longer then 6 months or so unless I had to cause eventually you will be found and if you can't kill all the enemies that approach then more will come. I think people under estimate the power of communication and there enemies, PREPARE FOR THE WORST,Pray for the best, and PLAN FOR EVERYTHING PPP

I've partially setup a shooting range at my house here in east tennessee and here it's a lot easier to find lands with 100 foot hills as back stop which eliminates the need to have sand as a back stop or steel plating but with that said slanted 1/8th steel hung over head i believe there call louvers? might want to check are a good addition for safety eliminates the threat of rounds going up and flying where they shouldn't, Also I'm sitting on about 50 acres with one neighbor on top of the ridge which i would literally have to shoot straight up with a high powered rifle to hit there house, but there good people so they don't mind the booming on the weekends and what not, but as far as acres goes it's really hard to say, It honestly depends on how the property is laid out since acres are considered square if you will you could have an acre that's 12 yards wide but 100 yards long my math probably isn't right on that but you get what I'm saying, So with that said if you can find land that is flat or flat with a hill toward the end of it or just away from people 10-15 acres should be more then plenty to do what all you described, if you can find flat land you can always invest in some fill dirt to setup as bullet traps hope this helps

Hmmm I believe I shall introduce ya'll to part of my "Handbook" in comes evact C. Evact C is the location where I formally worked, I know the complete layout of the building It's less then an 1/8th of a mile from the clinch river so a steady water supply, the building itself is around 10k square feet If i remember correctly, There are quite a bit of supplies on hand,no not in the sense of a lot of food but essentials like 1st aid,water,small amount of food,and comforts like showers. Yes i know if the SHTF or zombies came then water would more then likely be shut down after a short period of time, but with that said I also know how to use and setup a ground pump or well pump and given the location I'm fairly certain i could get a steady flow of water from the river to the building, The building also has a great amount of security features already in place such as 8 foot fencing all the way around and security cams,also to note The place that supplies the electricity is less then a mile away and guess what there just happens to be an electrician in my group of people who would be coming lol There are also some neat things in the building which would benefit security boilers with hot oil,lots and lots of tires and rubber that can be used to make body armor or to armor vehicles.As well as a grocery store less then a mile away and semi trucks on the property to haul as many supplies as we can and a very very steady supply of propane. Again this is Evact C meaning plan C if the two previous ones fall through or numbers in the group require expanding to a bigger building in that situation All my Tgo family are welcome just make sure to bring guns women and beer lol

Alright well I don't know if we're talking about having to walk or actual driving as far as ditching does if we're talking driving then I would bring at least 5 of my ak's with me my 2 p229's and my taurus 669 and model 19 in .357 and my two savage 110 tacticals in .300 win mag with a host of ammo I've got about 1k of .38 and around 200 .357 and around 10k rounds to feed the ak's lol with about 40 mags pics and also about 300 rounds of .300 win on my avatar of 2 of my aks and the the taurus and model 19 i do believe I'll also include a video i did a while back of some of gear on youtube lol and here are a few pics of my ammo room down in what i call the old house lol Think i did enough pics to get the idea lol

A question was brought up I do believe by Our Future President hopefully Ohshoot, and he said " why would you carry an unloaded gun" and I should bring up this most uberti bp pistol rock a hefty 6-10inch plus barrel length and if that can't keep someone away from you nothing can haha well maybe me as a bodyguard,or chuck norris, or a mini gun but other then that ...... maybe a lion... o hell with it get a real gun lol
