I myself am partial to norinco I love my mak 90's and my mak 91 national match, but if your saying price isn't an issue vector makes some very fine ak's as well. I'll probably be posting my mak 91 up for sell soon to fund some other builds. Hope my 2 cents helps lol

well that's true and false really depending on how you look at it the ammo would defeat armor that other rounds would stop in would it defeat a tanks armor ? No but in the same since no ammo is really armor piercing cause that's enough armor in the world to deter even the heavyiest of boom's,

Not true at all I meet a guy a few years back at a gun show who Got DD, The reason for this came up a few months later when he showed me a video that a news crew had took of him the film showed him and other members of his unit, trying to get air lifted out of an area in which they came under enemy fire, one of the members had been injured as they returned fire trying to get him onto the heli the weapons began running dry(out of ammo) so he reached into his pack and pulled out his 1911 he had brought from home he fired the weapon and killed one of the enemy targets and the rest retreated, well when this video came about instead of getting a medal and sent on his merry way they DD'ed him for using a non military issued weapon and ammo, this is the stuff you don't hear about on the news

Hey guys going to buy my membership tomorrow and was thinking about selling some extra steel core i've had for a few years I was wondering does anyone know what's a fair price on a case of steel core i've got 2 cases in spam cans that are marked 72' and another case that's commercial chinesse ammo marked 91' can't really find prices on a whole case anywhere lol any help would be greatly apperciated

it is a stretch in some ways but in others its not, I mean countries have won the independence via way of the ak 47 but some have be conquered by the same weapon, and yes it has a violent and ruff history, but i know if we the people of the usa had to rise up in arms this minute the first weapon i would grab would be one of my ak's the ar's would come if i had room to bring them along lol
