  1. Completed builds - Spare AK and 10/22 parts for sale or trade View Advert After finishing up a couple builds, I have unused parts that will serve other TGOers better than they will me. Cash and trade offers are welcome - in terms of trade interests, I'd like ammunition in the following calibers: 9mm, 5.56mm, .30-06, 7.62x39, 7.62x54r, 7.92mm, 12ga 2 3/4 #7 or 8 trap loads, or .308 fmjs. That's not an exclusive list, since who knows what you're ready to get rid of that might interest me? For Trade, AK: I have a Bakelite pistol grip, gas tube with upper wood handguard, underfolder stock with all hardware, and some leftover ignition parts not used on semi AK-47s. These came from a Polish parts kit and the numbers do not match. For Trade, 10/22: All parts brand new. Beechwood standard stock (no barrel Band), 18" barrel with brass bead front sight and buckhorn rear, original box and docs, filler screws for non-scoped receivers, and the usual locks and such. PM me if you're interested in any of the above, either singly or in package form, and let's see what we can do! 2. I don't understand how they use all those BCM parts and fail to include one of the Gunfighter charging handles. Such a good upgrade, yet not part of this package. Sent from my Nexus 5X using Tapatalk
  3. TGO friends, this is an odd for sale post, but an interesting one. I am an insomniac looking for sleep and manual labor. I left my job of 14 years in July (don't need money, not asking for donations) and since have lost my sense of agency among other things. One of the casualties has been my ability to sleep during regular human hours. The best way to get out of this mental doldrum, so I'm told, is to exhaust myself physically...having tried everything else, I'm willing to give it a shot. I've done unskilled construction work in the past and am willing to do most anything, provided I don't have to start early the first couple days. I can drive a skid-steer loader like an artist, chop wood, weed gardens, or just about anything else. I'm at the point where I need to feel like a man again, and that feeling, at least for me, comes from doing hard work and accomplishing tasks. If you have something you want or need help with in the Franklin area, give me a shout. I'm willing to put in sweat and hours; let's set a price and help each other. 4. Hornady reloading manual, latest version, still in the shrink. I already have a copy, so I'll give this away to the first person willing to come pick it up in Franklin.

  8. When I saw the indiegogo page for this concept, I immediately thought of emergency preparedness and wilderness camping as great applications for this new (old) idea, which is basically to use a slow falling weight to propel an ever-finer set of gears to drive a DC motor, which then powers an LED light source.  Instead of batteries, all you need for light is a sack of rocks or any other weight.  The concept is basically the same as how grandfather clocks and large tower clocks work.   If youre interested, check out the link to their page here.  Since it's an indiegogo at this point, your money will net you different things depending on how much you spend, but much of your investment goes towards expanding production of these lights in Africa, where they're badly needed.  I kicked in a few bucks, maybe you will too.   Regards, Patrick
  9. Ever make it to Nashville? Are you willing to ship?
  10. I ended up with two copies of Hornady's most recent reloading manual, one of which is still brand new in the shrinkwrap.  I'd like to trade the brand new copy straight up for a manual from Speer, Sierra, or Nosler.  Most recent editions only, please.   Thanks for looking!  PM with any questions.   [attachment=10924:manual.PNG]
