  1. Anyone know of a mag extension that will fit the millenium pro PT111. I bought some one time that "fit" but I had to force them on. Everyone I look at says "not for millenium pro"
  2. Someone correct me if I'm wrong but on the Heinie website they show using the six o'clock hold on the straight eights. I have firesights on my PT111 now but shot the straight eights for a while and always found it shooting low using the six o'clock hold. I'm about to put them back on as I have broke one of the beads on the firesights. This is kind of pointless as I know I can aim dead on and hit my target but I guess I'm just curious if I am doing something wrong. Also note when I shot the straight eights and was shooting low I was taking care not to pull down the barrel when shooting.
  3. I can sympathize with the OP. My wife is the same way sometimes but anytime there is a strange noise outside or a suspicious individual with an eye on us she is very comforted knowing I am armed. Stay strong man haha.
  4. I bought my Taurus PT111 about a year and a half ago and the guy I bought it from had some type of stick on felt grip one it. It didn't look like a piece of felt you'd get at a craft store. It looked like it may have been made for a handgun grip but I took it off because I didn't like how it looked. Noe I have a kholster i've "combat cut" and the grip on it is eating my side up. Anyone know where I may can find this material or any better solutions. Also I don't where undershirts so that isn't an option. Thanks
  5. Hi. Ben from Moscow(right outside Memphis) I mainly do all my shooting at home but venture to the range every now and then. I carry a Taurus pt111 and am currently helping the wife get her carry permit.
  6. I like the TWRA range in Bartlet. I haven't been to any others but every time i've been it was never crowded. You can't use your holster is my only complaint but I live in the country so I can practice that outside.
  7. I watched some videos on youtube on the two. Think i'll go with the supertuck.
  8. I am currently using a cheap IWB holster that at first use was great but after the first full day of work and it rubbing me I have decided to get either an MTAC, Supertuck, or Kholster Crescent. MY question is about the back or the side that touches the body. I noticed the MTAC has another layer over the rivets used to hold it on. Can anyone who has tried more than one of these offer any insight on the comfort level of one over the other. I carry a Taurus PT111
  9. Have had my permit about a year but am just now really getting serious about carrying it. Lots of robbery happening around the area and it's opened my eyes. The wife is taking the class Oct. 19th!! and can't wait. Just a bit of info on my part: the main reason I didn't carry everyday was because I couldn't find a reasonably priced holster to really conceal my weapon. Turns out the best bet so far is a $12 universal IWB. haha. Looking at a crossbreed though.
