  1. When I lived in Nashville that group got together a few times and did a meet and greet. Any interest in that here? I think ya'll may have done it before but can't remember.
  2. I've been away from the forum for a while and decided to come on back! I picked up a Launch 4 on vacation and am loving it so far. I was looking for a smaller knife I could wear easily with dress slacks that wouldn't feel like a brick in the pocket. It's not as nice as the Protec Runt I missed a while back but for the price it's hard to beat. I may pick up a larger version or two soon. Anyone else using the Launch series? 3. Well I'm not sure what it was. I cleaned everything even though it wasn't really dirty. I've also shot more rounds with no problems so who knows. Thanks for the advice. Sent from my SAMSUNG-SM-G891A using Tapatalk
  4. I did fire it with no issues afterwards for at least another 40 rounds. Everything looked good when I stripped it today as well. Sent from my SAMSUNG-SM-G891A using Tapatalk
  5. I'll check the striker channel . I believe I detailed it recently but honestly can't remember. Thanks. Sent from my SAMSUNG-SM-G891A using Tapatalk
  6. Yesterday while shooting a classifier match I had a round not fire. The striker dropped so I assumed a light strike or a primer not seated. After picking up the cleared round there was no hit on the primer. I'm honestly not sure how that could have happened. Anyone had that happen before? Stock striker spring Winchester primers Sent from my SAMSUNG-SM-G891A using Tapatalk
  7. Same here. They did great work at a reasonable price. Sent from my SAMSUNG-SM-G891A using Tapatalk
  8. Also yes I have been reloading but not a lot. I have settled on the 110 tac TX for my hunting round and have some 220 match Kings ordered for subs. Been shooting the factory Remington subsonic for now. Sent from my SAMSUNG-SM-G891A using Tapatalk
  9. Hmmmm. I may just do it then. I know you like the BTE versions but would you recommend the ball/detent type or the screw with the set screw? Anderson has a reasonably priced one with 20 settings on it. Sent from my SAMSUNG-SM-G891A using Tapatalk
  10. More so with supersonic. I tried a few different rounds a couple hours ago and it seemed to lighten up on the smoke after a good cleaning with a more precise lubing. I usually just smear grease in there liberally. I was contemplating an adjustable block but since it seems to run everything well with and without the supressor I'll just leave it alone. Minimal poi shift as well with the supressor. That was a pleasant surprise. Sent from my SAMSUNG-SM-G891A using Tapatalk
  11. Honestly it's not really that noticeable as far as blowback goes. My 5.56 AR is way over gassed (factory) and you get lots of gas to the face. This is mainly just smoke. It may be lubrication burning off as well. I just fully cleaned it and didn't get as much smoke this time. Sent from my SAMSUNG-SM-G891A using Tapatalk
  12. Just recieved my supressor (AAC 762 SD) and after firing a round through it there is quite a bit of smoke coming out of the trigger guard, around the charging handle and out of the barrel. I assume this is somewhat normal but are others having this symptom? 10.5" barrel with Pistol length gas system. Sent from my SAMSUNG-SM-G891A using Tapatalk
  13. Luckily the 2500s don't have mds [emoji5]️ Sent from my SAMSUNG-SM-G891A using Tapatalk
  14. Basically just sound is what I'm after. I don't care for the dual out look on this specific truck. It's just way to quiet to have a hemi. [emoji5]️ I've heard numerous people online say that they wished they went with the 14" instead of the 18" so I believe I'm gonna go with that. It it's too loud I'm only out $100 or so and will just sell it. Sent from my SAMSUNG-SM-G891A using Tapatalk
  15. Yeah it's just a dual out vs a single out with the 2500. I'm assuming it affects the sound somewhat. Sent from my SAMSUNG-SM-G891A using Tapatalk
  16. That's my problem. All the videos are either dual setup or 1500 rams. I like what I hear from the 14" just wondering if it will sound much difference from one outlet. Sent from my SAMSUNG-SM-G891A using Tapatalk
  17. I have a 2015 ram 2500 with the 5.7 hemi. I am looking to swap just the muffler and leave all other piping the same. I am thinking of using magnaflow but am trying to decide between a 14" and an 18". Any suggestions? Outlet is in the factory location behind right tire. Sent from my SAMSUNG-SM-G891A using Tapatalk
  18. If you order online from northern tool you can get a $50 or $100 gift card. Just sped $50 more for the $100 gift card. Free shipping. Sent from my SAMSUNG-SM-G891A using Tapatalk
  19. I've just about talked myself into a Honda eu2000i. Just for the fact we can use it for camping as a bonus. From all the videos I've watched on it I can run the essentials I am looking for. Sent from my SAMSUNG-SM-G891A using Tapatalk
  20. Could be the case. I didn't see it in person when they did it. Sent from my SAMSUNG-SM-G891A using Tapatalk
  21. That's odd. They actually ran mine on a small generator to "prime" it due to the fact I didn't have electricity out there at the time. I guess we will see. That's really the least important on my list. If the water isn't hot I can't really do much with it. Just want to see and keep the food. Sent from my SAMSUNG-SM-G891A using Tapatalk
  22. Thanks for all the tips guys. I won't be running any sensitive electronics. Basically just lights, fridge, freezer, and maybe the well. I plan to setup a propane heater inside with the tank in the shop for emergency heat. I'm thinking my new house will be tight enough and small enough to stay warmish for a day or so. And we have plenty of blankets. We also plan to use all Led bulbs where we can. Sounds like a 5k watt may do what I want. I like the price point on the Black Max 5k too! Sent from my SAMSUNG-SM-G891A using Tapatalk
  23. I'm looking to purchase a backup portable generator for power outages. We usually have at least one a year and it may take a day or two to get fixed. I'm basically wanting to keep the refrigerator going along with some lights and possibly the well pump. I've seen contradicting numbers on what size I would need. I'd like to hear from you folks that have one. Ill be connecting it into the system through my welder outlet with the main breaker off. There is a large price gap in between a 5k watt model and the 8k~9k models so I'd prefer to save the dough where I can. It will likely only be used those one maybe two times a year. I don't want to shell out the dough for a Honda either. I'm looking at less than $1000. Sent from my SAMSUNG-SM-G891A using Tapatalk
  24. Bump. I am going to have to remove some material so any suggestions would be very helpful. Thanks. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  25. I read that as you get $40 on top of the replacement plates. Maybe not though. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
