  1. The older I get the better I was!!!!!!!!!
  2. Price G, Thanks for the 3-gun match. Good stages, good people, good fun!!! Is it next month yet?? Thanks
  3. Bump for the 7-12 weekend match and....who's going?
  4. Middle Tn Shooters Club in Manchester 1:00pm.
  5. Eotec will most likely be the most bang for the buck. 1. Has the mount built in 2. cheaper battery's All zero magnification sights take more skill to get hits on target past 100 yards.
  6. I had a good time shooting Sun. The weather could not have been better. Good the see some TGO people there! The side match was a hoot. Hope everyone comes out again soon.
  7. This was a fun match! Little bit of every thing. Well Done. Look forward to next one.
  8. I plan on it. I've been to one so far and the match is a blast!
  9. Sorry, NO STEEL CORE AMMO. @ over $400.00 a pop for prop's it would get expensive quick.
  10. Ol' wore out Benelli M1 21" but it's a shooter 8- 8:15 is good. I'll be there.
  11. If you could get to the match 1/2 hour early and I can give you a quick run down of the shotgun. 2 boxes of 7 1/2's (dont HAVE to be 7 1/2's, 6's, 8's will work too) and 8 slugs and you will be ready to have some fun! See everyone @ 9:00am on the 2nd.
  12. awdbandito, Great to hear! Pistol with 3 mags is good. M4-gery with 2-3 mags is good (rifle will need a sling). Bolt 20ga shotgun not good. What type of action are you more comfortable with semi or pump? You can borrow McFoot... I mean my stuff. A couple boxes of 7 1/2's and a min. of 8 slugs. What to wear? No rules really. Just comfy and warm. Your gona be runnin around shootin so..... Wolf is fine. As said before no steel core ammo!!! molonlabetn "What would the 5.7x28mm cartridge be considered? A rifle cartridge or a pistol cartridge? (it was chambered in the P90 first)" We dont check major and minor. Too much hassle for local match. Looks like it wouldn't make minor. But if someone showed up with a PS90 I would let it in if thats all you had. IMHO those things are uglier than sin.
  13. awdbandito, If you have an AR-15 type rifle your all set. I have seen AK's, SKS, M1A's, FAL, ... for rifle. Only limit is no pistol caliber. Shotgun should be no problem. You can borrow one the first time around. I would go with the action type your more familiar with pump or semi. Let us know and we'll hook you up.
  14. molonlabetn I'll be looking for you. We start @ 9:00am. MCFooter I got "the look" from my wife about this weekend but, so far no lawyers are involved . Gona miss ya. See you next time.
  15. Small rifle targets @ 300 yrds, weak shoulder slugs, cooper tunnel. Whats not to like????
  16. 2nd Sunday is IDPA @ MTSC. They are dropping the 3rd Sunday IDPA shoot. 4th Sunday is USPSA. ~20 showed up and had a BLAST!!!! All I can say about Dan is BIG SISSY!!!
  17. AAAHHHH.....Yes. Your first name would'nt be Evil??? Would it???
  18. Unless Im shooting a match or on the shooting range I carry concealed 99% of the time. Open carry? I would guess that you would get ALOT of attention that way. Wanted and unwanted.
  19. I shoot IDPA, USPSA and 3-gun. Mostly at Middle Tennesse Shooters Club or sometimes at North Tennessee Practical Shooters. Im hooked
  20. I like reloading 45 acp because i can reload RNL, FMJ, JHP, in any over all length I know works best in my personal gun. Also you get the freedom to load plinking ammo thru full house smokers. Just alot of ways to go in 45acp. I personally dont like having to live with whats in the store. Factory ammo has its place for sure and I buy some special purpose ammo in the stores from time to time. Once you get over the initial cost of the major components of the reloading set-up its nice to crank out a big batch of reloads for less money than factory fodder.
  21. I use the Viking Tactics adjustable sling. I dont use the sling much but the Viking Tac. sling is simple enough to use and not get in the way too bad when your not using it. Quick and easy to adjust. Nice and tight for no bouncing around or a little looser for @ the waist carry. The one thing you must do for the Vik Tac sling to work correctly is that the rear attach point must be put on the top of the buttstock.
  22. Weather looks like its going to be cold Sat. morning. Dress warm.

    Back-up guns

Kel-Tek 32 or 38 snub for back up.
  24. molonlabetn, I would skip the "Pig Tail". I havent used one, but I have never heard of one of these things "fixing" a problem. My .02
