  1. They are not going to fuse, they are going to chip the disk away from the nerve. Once it is chipped away it will well it should relieve the pressure off of the nerves. If everything goes right I should only be down a couple of weeks. Depends on how I heal I might even be able to catch muzzleloader season or part of it. It did come to a shock to me, I fell hard on my back one day and 2 days later I could hardly walk. I even tried physical therapy and it didn't even make it feel better one bit. I had consulted several medical professionals and come to the conclusion that is the best option. If I don't have the surgery and the way the disks are against my nerves, I will always have pain in my back and legs and they will go numb also.
  2. Yeah it jusr stinks I am going to miss bow season, I got me a Mathews FX not a new bow but it is to me. The Mathews FX I got was shot very little and was in new condition. Oh well I can use it during turkey season though.
  3. I will take a rain check

  12. Well found out a couple of days ago that I will have to have back surgery this Thursday. It stinks but what can you do, not like you can go to the walmart tire and lube center and have them instal a new back and everything is gravy again. It will be another month or more before I can do any hunting and I am going crazy . I have found myself watching hunting shows more than usual. Maybe I will fondle my Mathews FX and pretend I am shooting a deer . Well just have to wait until next year. I should make rifle season though, yeah!
  13. It is good my grandmother has cooked it that way, minus the mushrooms. I like taking the front shoulder and putting it in a big pan with carrots, onions, celery, taters or whatever you want and cook it in an oven like a roast.
  14. He just wanted to know what she was thinking.
  15. Even though deer can see some colors, I don't think it will effect everyone anyways. For example most hunters use deer stands which gets you higher up and out of the wind so deer feel more comfortable in approaching and they have a hard time seeing you. Ground blinds do contain your scent to a certain degree but with good cover scent you will be fine. As for deer seeing your ultraviolet camo, the blinds should cover you enough so that that it will be harder for them to see you.

    very cool video

I thought they were going to have an orgy. Very funny video I first thought that it was going to eat them.
  17. I have bought several refurbished electronics from TigerDirect and never had a problem with them and great customer service.
  18. It is illegal to hunt over bait. I think you can bait until 2 weeks until the start of season and all bait has to be gone. You can hunt food plots, cornfields, or any planted field due to it being agriculture. If you hunt a cornfield that has corn still in it, it is legal but if you put corn in it then your baiting. I will check the laws again. http://tennessee.gov/twra/news/baiteddove.html Taken from TWRA web site: Hunting is prohibited over a site where bait has been placed to feed or attract wildlife unless the bait has been removed at least ten (10) days prior to hunting.
  19. I have a Saiga 12 and would to see the pic of yours, you know to see what the goodies look like on it.
  20. You should look at the ones with the hard drive.
  21. Yeah bore sighting is the way to go, will cut down on ammo and trouble of moving the sight.
  22. All this talk about reloading, sounds fun to do. If I did it I would never get anything done
