Got the rifle for Christmas and started from there. Rem XCR Long Range Tactical in 308, 1 in 12 twist. Fancy name for a 308 with fluted bbl and decent stock. EGW 20 min. base with Burris Tactical rings. Leupold Mark IV 8.5x25x50 glass with Mil-Dot reticle.

I haven't got to shoot it yet. The plan is to break the barrel in this Sunday then begin load development.

Use the 175 gr Sierra Match Kings for your work up. That is what a lot of folks are shooting here at 1K in the 308's
