I have a buddy of mine that bought a Bersa 40 cal from me for his daughter to carry while going to college and we spoke last week and I ask him how his daughter was doing with the 40 cal and he said she is out shooting at the Base range he is stationed at. He said she is hinting about being like dad and moving up to a 1911 and he told her, after she graduated.

Him and his daughter go to the range on the base almost every week and she scores higher about 90% of the time. She wants to get a 1911 soon as she graduates. She has asked him to shoot his but he won't let her. He tells her she will learn how to shoot a 1911 with her own in July. It

It's already on layaway waiting for her to get her diploma.

Oh did I mention that she is a Military Brat and has never known anything else. My buddy told me that she was shooting almost before she was walking and talking and once she was old enough to know what daddy was doing she was in her room getting ready to go to the range with Daddy and she met him at the back door to the pickup truck. His wife hollered for them to be careful and they were on their way. When they were up here to visit me I mentioned that I had the 40 Cal 80 model Bersa for sale ad he ask the price and I told him and he said he would take it. I was kind of caught a little surprised as I knew he was a die hard 1911 guy. He whispered to me that it was for Kimmie and I looked at her and back at him and he just smiled Kimmie would be turning 8 in 3 weeks. That's all I have to say on that!!!!!   (it was the only gun I didn't have ammo for)
