Scope for a Marlin 336c

Recommended Posts

Took my Marlin 336 to the range today and confirmed what I've known for some time....the eyes just aint what they used to be.

I have never had a scope on a gun and really haven't had any experience with them and have no idea what is involved in putting on a scope or what to look for in one.

Anyone on here have any suggestions on what I need to get?

I would like to be able to reach out 100 yds and be consistent.

This thread is a little old, but i'll second the 2-7x notion. The 2-7x is a good choice. The nikon or for a few bucks more, bushnell elite would do what you want I think. You're at around 130ish for the nikon and maybe 195ish for the elite, unless you get a really good deal.

I've looked through both alot...i can't tell any difference in image quality. I give the edge to the bushnell in real low light, but the difference isn't worth the money imo.
