158gr is the most common 357 round. It can be bought almost anywhere ammo is sold. If it is in stock that is.

I would get Double Tap Ammo. You can buy it at there website or from Midway USA.

357 158 gr swc ammo is to heavy for my 2" barrel. I had to half the charge and go to a 120 gr. bullit to find satisfation. But I've never shot a factory load in either my 38spl or 357. I've reloaded a few max. loads and didn't like them.

Self pretection, I want it to live with the bullit, unless I can get a few more rounds in it. I don't see 1 shot does it.

You didn't say how much ammo you were looking for, but if you're only looking for a few boxes, you might try W. D. Sporting Goods on Alcoa Hwy. They usually stock 357 magnum and their prices are pretty reasonable. Call them first: 865-577-5222.
