Glad to see it. It a step in the right direction. I guess you would consider Joe McCarthy

a monster if you were a communist. He's been lied about for too long. Interesting about Stonewall Jackson. Hip hop and rap can die that bloody death, Jack;).

Down with progressivism.

In 7h grade we learned Texas History and much of it was about the mexican revolution,The Alamo the Battle at San Jacinto and How Sam Houston worked his way through Texas and how Tennessee go it's name "The Volunteer State" Daniel Boone was the man,"You can all go to hell,I'm going to Texas" Now that's .50 cal balls.

Hip Hop is not history it is present and I don't remember learning about Jimmy Page,Bon Scott,Jimmy Hendrex,Ronnie jame Dio or Hank Williams in any History Class, thats the stuff I learned in the hallway.

I dont think a HISTORY book needs to talk about any kind of music. In history class you are supposed to learn about history period. Save the music talk for music class. Who comes up with this ;)?

And Music appreciation class should be more current as well. I hated that class.

History is too important to let the progressives blank it out the way they want to.

One of the Carolinas school boards wanted to start the history lessons at or after Lincoln. That makes no sense and it may even be a way to make our youth not learn about the forming of this great country. Hmm, I wonder why someone would want to do that?
