Anyone up for shooting this friday(2nd) afternoon/evening?

Recommended Posts

Gotta be somewhere in West Knoxville this friday at 7pm. Would anyone be up for some shooting that afternoon/evening if I come down earlier? Probably CCA would be easiest, or I could maybe work out something at Norris abit earlier. Let me know.

Welp, I had the pleasure of meeting and shooting with Daniel(smopoim86) this evening. We had a great time, and I got to play with a few of his toys...I liked that HK p7psp & p2000sk. :D
That H&K P7 is an outstanding firearm. I carried one for several years when I lived in Knoxville. Incredibly accurate and very reliable. I purchased mine from a chap that lived in the Fountain City area that has/had an FFL. IIRC, I paid about $635 for it. That was one of the firearms I sold shortly after I got married. I'm pretty certain H&K has discontinued it, which explains why they're so hard to find nowadays. When you do find one, it's very pricey. I saw one for sale at a store in Knoxville a few months ago. It was on consignment and the owner was asking $1400 for it... ouch!

Tell me about it! I shot better with it than I did with my own gun(M&P9c)...HA! Definetly a nice gun, and nice feeling trigger as well.
I've heard some folks squawk about the "squeeze cocker", but I rather liked it and got accustomed to it very quickly. It certainly beat the :poop: out of having to futz and fumble around with a safety.

It's a grade C, but the one I got hadn't harly been shot. just a good bit of holster wear. You'll have to buy the scraper tool and cleaning brush though.
