Knife Lanyards

Recommended Posts

Soooooo.... I'm digging around on several knife websites last night looking for a nice fixed blade, and found one that I really fell in love with. So, of course, I order it. While looking at it online a few minutes ago, I thought it may look good with a nice paracord lanyard. My question is, do any of you make your own lanyards, or order them? Where could I get a good one from, or what do you recommend making it out of (550?), and how the heck do you make them? Below is a picture of the knife I ordered: A Camillus Hunter. Any suggestions are appreciated!

Here are a few of mine. I use 550 cord, usually gutted. I learned a lot of my knots from TIAT's page on YouTube. Also, the Ashley Book of Knots is a great resource.

I really like the brown lanyard. Good job on those, Kong. Like the boxer, by the way. I've had a boxer since I was 9. Fantastic with the kids (young and old), and protective of their family.
