Man, what a shame. We used to attend Movies in the Park all the time when I was in the college and shortly after. Too bad some idiot had to show up and ruin a fun event for everyone.

They ruined it for that kid and his family, anyway. The story indicates that the next movie will be shown as planned. And at least they waited until the end of the movie...

I kid, of course.

It is terrible that this happened, and you never want to see a kid get caught up in the middle of something like this. BUT at least people aren't completely flipping out (yet) and just shutting the whole program down. While random shootings are never good for gun rights, at least no one is flipping out as much as they sometimes do.

The name of the newspaper article should read 'Centennial Park Shooting Injures Gang Banging Teen'...Why throw signs knowing you will eventually get shot.
