1911 Match, Sunday July 17th

The Volunteer Rifle and Pistol Club is holding 1911 match this Sunday. It will be held at the JSHEC on Rifle Range Rd. There is a TWRA gate fee of $5.50 and a $5.00 match fee which wiil be collected at registration. The course of fire is as follows:

Bill Drill: from 7 yards, 6 rounds

El Presidente: from 7 yards, 6 rounds, reload, 6 rounds (12 rounds)

Mozambique: (failure drill), 7 yards, 2 rounds to body, one to head, repeat 2x, individually timed.9 rounds

Precision: 7 rounds each from 15, 20 and 25 yards. (21 rounds)

A strong side holster is required, no shoulder holsters alloweD

50 rounds will be needed. We will start shooting at approx 2:00PM
