Colt Python Combat Elite

Recommended Posts

Wow this thing is amazing. I was convinced I would hate the G10 grips so I ordered some wood ones. These grips are staying they are amazing and fit my hand like a glove.

I installed a Wilson Combat adjustable and a Gold Dot Wilson combat front to replace the Night Sight, this was a big time improvement. 5 star Firearms make the Speedloader equipment pictured with my New Colt. I will shoot the crap out of it next week and let you all know what I think

Thats a beautiful gun, almost to pretty to shoot. I hope it shopts as good as it looks, cause itll be a real winner

Mike Heffron has this and my soon to be 4.25 Anaconda on a 2 year wait list for his signature series Ultra tune to make them world class revolvers. In my opinion these are some of the finest looking wheel guns ever made.

Beautiful. Pythons are my favorite revolver ever. And I've been looking at Five Star trying to decide what combination I want for my Taurus 608. I would be looking at wood grips too, they just have a look to them. Probably not the original Python style though. Congratulations on a great aquisition.

So I just ran 3 cylinders of Buffalo Bore .357 through it and, I am in love! the weight calms the recoil enough to make it managable, much more than I thought it would. I will zero my sights later but was able to put all 18 bullets on the steel plate at 10 yards, so I am happy. I will put a bunch of .38 special Gold Dots through her to zero it in.

I absolutely love the Wilson sights and I think the Gold front sight is the best I can have on this revolver

The only negative comment I can make about this when it came from colt, the rear sight, the Wilson is leaps and bounds better and an upgrade for Pythons and Anacondas that I highly reccomend.

I intend to leave the Orange front sight on my upcoming 4.5 Anaconda but already have the adjustable rear waiting for it.

I agree with Spots on this one. It does almost look too pretty to shoot. Haha!

they clean up nicely, it is far too fun to not shoot and  just just keep in a safe, I had a couple of 1911's being built, I put on hold in lue of my new addiction I think I will pick up at least 1 more Python maybe a 2.5 inch
