1911 Magazines

I thought I had this figured out by reading on M1911.

I was told by many that the Wilson Combat Magazines were the best. Polymer follower.

Others recommended the McCormick mag's, which use the split style follower like the factory Kimber magazine.

I'm here to tell you that the magazines from Tripp Research (CobraMag's) are by far the best I've seen. Perfect looking welds, nice little logo, and the best is this hybrid follower. Polymer top, metal sides. I've had zero misfeeds with it, many with the McCormick, and relatively few with the Kimber or Wilson.

That is all, I think the Tripp Research CobraMag's are by far the nicest I've seen. Too bad they are costly.

If you are a 1911 fan and haven't checked them out, pick one up for fun sometime - I'm in no way affiliated, but I've had a good experience and wanted to pass it on. Many times on forums, all the posts are complaints, I like to commend those that did a good job or make a good product.
