How long is your certificate good for.

Recommended Posts

My son, who is in the Air Force in FL, took his CC class just before Christmas and could not get in to the drivers testing station before he had to leave to go back to base. He will be back the first week of March. How long is his class certificate good for? I seem to remember when I took my class several years ago they told me 6mo. but heard someone say 90 days. Anyone know for sure?

Yes, you have 6 months to apply otherwise he has to take the class again. The state has 90 days to issue the permit, however it usually takes much much less than that nowadays.
