I went to get this belt from a local police supply store here in Nashville. The salesman directed me to the Wilderness Tactical belt. It is similar to the 5:11 but has an additional plastic stiffener in-between the two layers of nylon and has a metal buckle. According to him and it has been true for me, the Wilderness, carries a firearm much better, more support for the weight of the weapon. The bulk of the belt has not hampered me in anyway and it is thicker than the 5:11 you are considering.

I really like my 5.11 double duty. I wear it every day armed or not. I seem to like the plastic buckle and isn't any more bulky in that area than any other belt really.

I should try the wilderness tactical out though.

No there fine. I wish mine was actually sturdier. I have a nylon Patagonia belt that I bought at Rock Creek outfitters for like $25 that is what I wear as much as any of my reenforced ones.

I have a Galco instructors belt and it's been great. Ran around 45 bucks but I don't have any sag from my pistols weight. The only downfall is I had to buy a new OWB holster, the slots in mine were just a bit too small.

I have a Bianchi dress belt ( tan ). I like it fine but I just like webbed belts and the reversible aspect seemed nice. I just worried about the thickness but from your comments it sounds like it will be fine. Ordered one today.

Thanks everyone - and thanks Patton for taking time to show pic.
