Llama IX-B 1911 style

Recommended Posts

So I bought a Llama IX-B "parts gun" but I want to fix it. Here's what it needs as far as I know: Firing pin and slide release. I took the gun up to Guns and Leather in Greenbrier and the gunsmith basically refused to even try and fix it.

Anyone know a solution to get this Llama firing again?

If I remember correctly from my time owning one I do believe a standard 1911 slide stop will work or is at least close enough that a little file work will make it work. I don't think I have a spare otherwise I would send you one.

If you want I can send you a standard 1911 firing pin to try. If it works you can keep it, if not send it back.
