Zombie Survival Course in New Jersey is a fully equipped training camp that offers day and weekend long packages for those who want to learn more than just the average Boy Scout survival tactics.

With a team of NRA-Certified firearm instructors, martial arts instructors and certified personal trainers, this camp will make sure you are ready and prepared to survive at any time. Zombie camp owner, Mark Scelza says the foundation for his camp is “the better prepared you are today, the easier tomorrow will be."

After a weekend long stay campers leave knowing how to use melee weapons, cross bows and firearms as well as how to collect, prepare and store emergency supplies. Scelza and his team of experts will even prepare you on how to acquire transportation by hot wiring a car.

"It's the unique classes that draw people to our camp," Scelza said. "I can almost guarantee you there aren't many camps that will teach you how to hot wire a car," he told FoxNews.com.

No. It's just bizarre that they actually have something like this though.

Sounds interesting actually... granted the zombie twist is a little silly but it's just good marekting strategy. A lot of those survival skills could be useful regardless of the situation. Though I'm not sure how much of that information could be retained in just a single weekend. Sounds like they're throwing a lot of stuff at you all at once, it would be hard to actually remember all of that after just a two-day crash course.

I don't think this is meant to be a serious replacement for true survival training. If it were local I'd sign up.
