Just wondering how the process works, just go to an FFL with the handgun and they ship it to another FFL, what do they charge for this usually?

Thanks

Danny

Pretty much. I've always shipped it myself but UPS overnight ain't cheap. FFLs can use USPS for pistols so it's considerably cheaper. I'd hazard a guess around $20. Call ahead just to make sure they'll do it.

If I'm not mistaken you need to get the receiving FFL to send their information to the sending FFL, then bring in the gun and they can ship it off. Costs will vary based on where your shipping, and how much they charge for the service.

Your best bet would be to figure out where your sending it to, shop around for who you want to send it, get them in touch with one another and go from there.

I believe that's about it but someone more knowledgable should be along to either confirm or deny this.
