I saw just what you are talking about at Gander Mountain the other day. Don't remember who made it, I'll try to stop by again and post it. They had a really nice slide out shotgun safe that sits under the bed too.

V Line makes a long closet vault that will fit shotguns and rifles, it runs in the $550 range.  If you are looking for a underbed safe , American Security makes one in the $650 range and Wardog makes one that is tougher that is in the $1500 range.    We sell both if you would like to come by our showroom.

I'm sure you could substitute a combo lock instead of the key lock. But hiding one of these behind a poster or large picture( or piece of furniture) will help.
